J4K NEXUS Goalkeeper Training Glove
Honest thoughts on this gloves please guys ... I brought the glove out , i think about 2 years ago - looking to revamp and bring out again early 2027... J4K Nexus Training Goalkeeper Gloves The J4K Nexus Training Goalkeeper Gloves are specialist training gloves designed to help young goalkeepers, beginners and players new to goalkeeping develop safer, more effective catching technique. Inspired by the shape of a baseball glove, the J4K Nexus helps goalkeepers create the correct V-shape hand position when catching the ball. IMPORTANT: This is a training goalkeeper glove only. It is not designed as a match glove. Why The J4K Nexus Was Created One of the most common problems with young or inexperienced goalkeepers is poor hand position when catching. The thumbs and index fingers should naturally come together to form a strong V-shape behind the ball. If this does not happen, the ball can: - Strike the thumb or index finger - Jar or dislocate fingers - Cause more serious finger injuries - Pass through the hands - Hit the goalkeeper in the face For young goalkeepers, being hit in the face can also damage confidence and make them nervous about playing in goal. The J4K Nexus was designed to help reduce these problems while teaching better hand positioning. Baseball-Style Catching Support The unique design includes extra glove material between: - The thumb and index finger - The little finger and ring finger This creates a wider catching surface, similar in principle to a baseball glove. The additional material helps bring the fingers into a stronger position and encourages the goalkeeper to create the correct V-shape. Instead of one finger taking the full impact of the ball, the connected fingers and glove material help spread the force across a wider area. Helps Improve Catching Technique The J4K Nexus encourages: - Better V-shaped hand positioning - Stronger catching technique - Improved handling - Better hand placement behind the ball - Greater goalkeeper confidence - Safer training habits

Personally I haven’t used them or seen them in person but I do think for the kids these would be a great pair to have in a kit bag to help build confidence at the beginning. Not a long term idea but certainly to get them in to thinking about hand positions etc
My boy 🥰
Earlier in the year Finn joined a new Sunday league team . They have been the most amazing and supportive team we could’ve asked for . Well they asked Finn if he wanted to choose his own kit and well for the number , it’s his little brother birthday and unfortunately the day he grew his wings . Safe to say I cried my eyes out on Sunday 😂 ofcourse we had to get his current favourite j4K gloves in

@Rick Preston ouch! Sounds sore! I’m mid 30s but definitely still think I’m capable of the same stuff from my younger days…. Great when you pull it off but it’s the next day when you need to move etc and you realise that youth is not on your side anymore
