Day 1 victory - Newsletter Workflow
Today i built the newsletter automation workflow from the 7 days challenge and it was quite fun, i used antigravity for to build it (I currently don't have Claude code) and followed Nate Herk's guide and the output came flawlessly, i literally got zero errors while building it.

Freebie - One small workflow that can save a stupid amount of inbox time.
I made an n8n workflow that reads incoming Gmail messages, classifies them with OpenAI, and auto labels them into the right bucket. Client. Follow up. Ads. Support. Finance. Spam. Simple setup, but it can save a lot of manual inbox checking if you get a decent volume of emails. So your inbox sorts itself while you focus on the emails that actually matter. Giving this one away for free, mostly for people new to automation and who want to get a grasp of how much money it can save.

@Shahroz Ahmed Definitely
3 months of talking to an AI more than to actual people
~40M Claude Code tokens burned building a local-first workspace for myself. Memory layers, synthesis pipelines, a knowledge graph, scheduled digests. The works. The hard part wasn't building it. Building is easy, you just keep adding. The hard part was refusing to grow. Every instinct said add more. Another layer, another guardrail, another safety net. I didn't. I kept it small and slow on purpose and gripped the core hard, quality over quantity, fixing one thing properly instead of shipping five things half built. And the weird signal that I was doing it right was deletion. A script that kept breaking became a 5-line shim and the whole problem died with it. A digest pipeline I'd carefully built, gone, replaced with something simpler. Seven config docs collapsed into one. But deletion wasn't the move. Deletion was the receipt. Every time I deleted a piece it meant that piece had finally hardened into something I no longer had to stand guard over. I wasn't cutting complexity for the aesthetic. I was confirming the ground under one more spot was solid enough to stop gripping. Here's where I actually am, and it's not a clean ending. The grip worked. Too well. Three months of holding the core, refusing to spread, and the discipline turned into a habit, the habit turned into a zone, and the zone became the anchor I now stand on. Which is the problem. The whole point of building the foundation was to eventually let go of the lever and spread, wide, on a scale nothing I tried before comes close to. But I've gripped so long and so consistently that letting go now feels like deciding to make my own surface unstable. Inviting the earthquake. I used to tell myself I'd just feel when it's right. I don't believe that anymore. That's a fairytale. We're creatures of habit, and no natural "okay, now" is going to arrive out of nowhere and grant permission. The anchor never feels like the moment to pull it. If I'm going to spread I'll have to do it by decision, against the habit, with no feeling backing me up.
