Hello everyone. Yesterday I presented 4 parcels of land in Laurens County, South Carolina. Each of the parcels was about 2.3 acres. I spoke with the county today, and there are no subdivsion rules for the county. I think that each of the parcels can safely be divided into 2 units because you will need a septic system and a well. The person that did the mulching stated that the soil was probably sandy loam, but he is not an expert. It is possible that you might be able to get 3 lots from each parcel, but this would run the risk of not having a sufficient drainage field for the septic. Let me know if you want to discuss this further. I am going to discuss with the manager and probably get a new subdivision of the property.
