Sharing my progress on a build—would love some feedback!
Hey guys, sharing my progress on a build and would love to get some feedback. I got sick of AI agents hallucinating complex pricing math and ruining quotes, and the Google Sheets webhook route was just too clunky. So, I built an external "math brain" to handle it. The workflow is simple: 1. The AI just handles the chat and collects the variables. 2. It fires a webhook to a visual logic engine I built. 3. The engine runs the strict math (conditional fees, distance, bundles) and returns a clean, hallucination-free JSON payload back to the agent. Here is a 3-minute Loom showing the backend builder and the API handoff: https://www.loom.com/share/edc0ecd308124007b2f84bf777f9283d Would love your brutal feedback on this architecture. Where do you guys see this breaking in your own workflows?

🏆 Community Wins Recap | May 2 – May 8
Big closes. AI Lead roles. SaaS momentum. Retainers. Equity. Real systems getting shipped. This week inside AIS+ was packed with builders turning reps into real opportunities 👇 🚀 Standout Wins of the Week inside AIS+ 👉 @James Tagalog landed an AI/Automation Lead role and jumped from $87K → $130K while realizing the interviews cared more about real-world thinking than memorized prep. 👉 Riaz Ahamed crossed $60K+ in client work since joining AIS+ as a complete beginner last year — now building GDPR-compliant Claude Code systems for EU clients. 👉 @Michael Elliott closed a $31K website rebuild + AI chatbot + retainer deal and shared the exact communication moves that helped secure the project. 👉 @Chris Atsu closed a €16K AI automation system for a marketing agency after holding firm through negotiation pressure. 👉 @Fernando Gómez shipped a real estate WhatsApp lead-classification system for a Málaga agency with €3.2K upfront + €299 MRR attached immediately. 🎥 Super Win Spotlight | @Jan Goergen Makinson Jan joined AIS+ after completing the AFT Challenge because he wanted to go deeper into AI automation and surround himself with builders actually doing the work. Since joining, he and his team have: • Built their own property-management SaaS using Claude Code + Lovable • Expanded the software for additional residential complexes in Cyprus • Signed a long-term AI documentation project with a new client • Turned that client relationship into both a monthly retainer AND equity in the company One of the biggest lessons Jan shared: You can learn tools from YouTube…But you can’t replace having helpful people around you when things get difficult.

Congrats everyone!
Video 2 is live — Would love feedback from this community.
Just dropped Video 2 on the Quotix journey. Video 1 showed the problem — same prompt, same rules, six different totals from two AI chatbots. None of them correct. Video 2 shows what I built to fix it. The short version: I stopped putting pricing rules in prompts and built a separate deterministic layer underneath the AI conversation. The AI handles the chat. A rules engine handles the math. They never cross over. Same inputs. Same output. Every time. Margin floor always protected. In this video I walked through the four core nodes that power every Quotix flow: 🟡 Trigger Node — where the workflow starts. Works with form submissions, webhooks, and APIs. 🔵 Flow Node — asks questions in sequence from top to bottom. Each answer builds the quote in real time. 🟢 Bundle Node — automatically adds mandatory fees without asking. Miami job? $800 fee adds instantly. No question asked. ✅ Form End Node — closes the flow, submits the quote, and pushes the lead to GHL (Work in progress). Four nodes. Every pricing scenario covered. Margin protected. Tax correct. Every time. 🎥 Video 2: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRvluYYDNl8&t=45s] Two things I would genuinely love from this community: One — honest feedback. Watch either video and tell me what is missing, what is confusing, or what you would do differently. I read every comment. Two — if you are deploying for a home service client — HVAC, roofing, cleaning, property management — and want to test Quotix with their actual pricing structure, DM me. I will build their specific flow before we connect so you can see it working with real numbers. Free. No pitch. Building in public. Every week something new ships!

Shipped: Geo Node — exact driving distance, automatic travel fee, live quote update
Just shipped the Geo Node in Quotix and it is one of those features that sounds simple until you try to build it inside GHL or n8n. Customer enters their address. Quotix calculates the exact driving distance from the service center using Google Maps. Travel fee adds automatically based on your rate per mile. Quote updates live on screen. In this example — 2.17 miles from the service center at $2 per mile = $4.33 distance charge. Total quote $10,639.33 including tax. All calculated in real time as the customer fills out the form. No AI estimating the distance. No manual lookup. No workflow spaghetti. Just a Geo Node that fires once, calculates once, and returns the same answer every time. This is the node that most service businesses have been duct-taping together with Google Sheets lookups and zip code tables. Now it is one node on the canvas. Building Quotix completely in public. New video dropping this week showing the full HVAC flow including the Geo Node in action. Drop a comment if you are building for a niche where distance affects pricing — delivery, field service, home maintenance, cleaning, pest control, HVAC. Would love to see if the Geo Node solves your specific use case.

Hey everyone 👋 Name: Hisham — based in Stamford, Connecticut. I am a software engineer and I have been building AI agents for local businesses and contractors. But I kept hitting the exact same wall — pricing hallucinations. I would set up strict pricing rules, tax rules, and margin floors in the system prompt. Simple questions worked fine. But the second a prospect started negotiating — "can we remove the premium filter?" or "can I get an off-peak discount?" — the AI started guessing numbers. Wrong tax base. Ignored mandatory fees. Invented discounts out of nowhere. The realization I kept coming back to — AI generates answers based on probabilities and patterns. Pricing requires deterministic math. Better prompting cannot fix that gap. So I built Quotix. A rules-first pricing engine where the AI handles the conversation and a deterministic engine handles the math. They never cross over. I am building completely in public and just dropped my first video showing the exact failures and the architecture I built to fix it. Would genuinely love feedback from builders who are actually deploying these systems for clients. Video — the problem and the architecture: https://youtu.be/mX5NLB5xSg4?si=UK-GbezuM3pCm4el Live demo — work in progress, would love your thoughts: https://thegrowthmark.com:8090/engine/823d012fde358c02fc9a7fd464dd3f4a Excited to be here and learn from everyone building in this space 🙌
