@Erin Booth I appreciate your thoughtful reply. You've confirmed my suspicion that most VAs don't specialize in writing, editing and content creation. I didn't know they'd attract a premium, but that's because I'm working with an agency and getting a flat hourly rate. I have already highlighted my writing skills in my agency profile, though most of the jobs coming in seem to want "highly experienced" schedule coordinators who can juggle several calendars and business and family priorities, or who have firsthand experience with specific platforms like Monday, QuickBooks, etc. Still, I was pleased to have signed on two clients in the first couple of weeks. You're right. Starting with an agency is a great way to build my confidence and fully understand the VA role. The support I get is excellent. But I can see a time (if all goes well), when I add another pipeline or two. Thank you for your encouragement and all your knowledge sharing!
