New Watch Day!
Just taken delivery of my new watch. Predictably, it’s now my Watch of the Day. The unboxing is below. Enjoy! It’s my first dive watch, a Scurfa M.S.26 Black Stainless Diver One Limited Edition. One of only 150, numbered (mine is 6/150). Bought in a very slender window of opportunity when the first 75 went live for sale on the 11th. It’s a Swiss made quartz movement, water pressure safe to 500m, domed sapphire crystal, military spec, nylon and rubber straps, and a Heliox escape valve (whatever that is). The brand owner is a professional compression diver and has tested all the elements in “battle” conditions, so to speak. I’ve been after a dive watch for a while, but have never pulled the trigger as nothing I could find in my price range scratched the aesthetic itch quite like the Scurfa stuff. I really like the robust and oversized design notes, the clarity, and of course the dive prestige behind the brand. Originally I was leaning towards the Bell Diver automatic version, but that’s 43mm diameter with a lug to lug of 51mm, compared to 40 and just under 48 of the M.S.26. That would have looked ridiculous on my twiglet wrists. Final thing: I was initially after the blue variant rather than the black. The second colour (of two) goes on sale on the 16th. I decided to try for a black one as well as a blue one, as if I missed out on the blue due to the limited shopping window then I’d have the black, and selling the one I didn’t want for rrp would be easy enough. But now I’ve actually got my hands on the black one, I’m definitely sticking with this. It’s gorgeous. And, as is tradition, the group allows three days of blatant self promotion of my new and exciting purchase. So I’ll post each day with three stunning shots of this beautiful timepiece in action. Until tomorrow! 😊🤿⌚️

Im creating concept watches and wanted to hear your thoughts
Just a promo video for some watch ideas that I would like to someday produce as a microbrand. Your thoughts and input are welcomed!
