Taxes. Then supplies. I’m fortunate to have very low rent.

Dual forms 💅🏼
What are you favourite brands to use for dual forms? I just got some from Kuhl nail supplies (Australia) but they only have coffin and almond and Frenchie I’m looking for more variety in shapes I’ve seen novo on Amazon but not all the styles Also has anyone ever infilled acrylic nails with poly gel and had success? 🤔

I use the MGart dual forms. They are thin and flexible

If it’s new client that no shows/no call, I won’t rebook. If it’s a regular, I’ll give them grace. Maybe there was an emergency, I’ll reach out to them. But if it happens again, not allowed to book again.

@Chloe Payne yes, but watch closely because some are pure marketing. I do love that there’s so many choices for different nail types. Not just acrylic or gel.

@Chloe Payne it is great when you find out what lights you up and just specialize in that.
Hard Builders?
Hi all. What is everyone’s favorite builder gels? I’ve been using one that’s a newer brand and I love it so far, but I’m always looking to try new ones that have good retention and easy to use. I also have a few soft builders I use but I’m starting to always reach for the same one now

The ones I’ve liked are: kinetics, and light elegance. One that’s technically not hard gel, but acts like it is kokoist excel gel.

@Kate Brown kokoist excel, can soak off but it’s a bit hard to soak off. Using their sticky base with platinum filler would soak off easier and platinum filler is a great semi hard gel too.
