Ad expectations around B2B Saas
Hey everyone, I'm from the dropshipping world. So my expectations around ads are completely screwed. I Launched my b2b SAAS around 2 weeks ago, and burned the first 300$ on nothingness, but now after $1.2k in adspend I'm getting a good amount of form fills. Around $10-12 per fill. Today with 11 fills. Ive got around 30 ads running. Half statics and half video. All different concepts. Offer is get the software for free, I set it up for you. I have 2 questions. 1. It it normal for services / SAAS to take this long to get traction on ad platforms? 2. All my forms fills are pretty much unqualified (I use conditional routing to pre qualify). Most of my leads are just missing 1 key qualification. Should I switch over to qualified form fill event or keep sticking it out with the current form fill event? A lot of talk on reddit and twitter around sticking it out till you have enough data. I now have 25 leads, 4 qualified. (3 calls scheduled, 1 no show, 1 show, and 1 later this week). any advice is appreciated. Thanks :)

@Lotfi Drif Hey! Thanks for the reply. Are you, off the rip, optimizing for qualified appointments scheduled? Also for context, the first 300$ was wasted because the hyros team told me to not push tracking at all to facebook. Ik dumb right? So eventually after a few days of no results I decided to add the pixel because that didnt make logical sense to me. After that I started getting results. I honestly still havent used hyros yet, the support team wont reply back to me. After the wasted 300$, I spent another 300$ and got 6 unqualified form fills (optimizing for form fills). Decided to switch to a qualified fills camp and got 1 form fill on 75$. Then went back to the drawing board and made 15 new ads. THen launched a new form fill camp and got 23-25 form fills, with 4 qualified and like 2 calls (on like 500$) Have since switched to qualified fills and results are pretty bad so far nearly 500$ on for 4 qualified, 2 calls.

@Lotfi Drif interesting I think I'm running something similar, I currently have a VSL style video as well, pretty much a demo of exactly what the product will deliver since the delivery is as close as I can get to dream outcome without testimonials. Our funnel works as follows. AD -> lander page with DEMO video -> call page (Contains both the qualification form and the call form). Maybe could use some more warmup, but figured the thing is free. Nearest competitor charges 5 figs a year for a similar solution. And yes, my thing actually works, better if not as good as the competitor. And I prove this on the demo video. Heres the stats: Optimizing for qualified form fills: From ad clicks to recorded page views (84%) From lander video page to recorded call page views (30%) <- This is where I assume the VSL would make the most impact, so no idea if this rate is good. Form fill rate (23%) Qualified (57%) Book rate (50%) Qualified form fills over entire funnel (Landing page -> form fill) = (4.1%) Optimizing for form fills: From ad clicks to recorded page views (88%) From lander video page to recorded call page views (44.5%) Form fill rate (33%) Qualified (12.5%) Book rate (66%) Qualified form fills over entire funnel (Landing page -> form fill) = (1.8%)
