1) I run a pay-per-call / pay-per-lead agency and brokerage. We connect qualified consumers with trusted providers across insurance (ACA, Medicare, Final Expense, Auto, Life, Annuities), debt, torts, and home services. 2) Currently running ads? Yes, continuously testing different channels while also working with publishers who specialize in high-intent inbound calls and transfers. 3) Still constantly scaling daily revenue. Focused on scaling sustainably while keeping quality and compliance front and center. 3) One thing I’d solve with a magic wand: Building consistent, reliable ad and lead / call pipelines without constantly battling compliance and lead quality issues. 4) Goals for the next 6 months: - Expand partnerships with both buyers & publishers - Double monthly call volume - Build more automated tracking/reporting for smoother scaling 5) Subscribed to Jason’s YouTube: Yes, confirmed. Why I Kept Losing Money on Ads.... Until Everything Changed
Back then, I used to pour so much money into paid ads thinking the more I spent, the better the results would be. Instead, I was just burning cash with almost nothing to show for it. It got frustrating because I thought the platform was the problem… but the truth was, there’s way more to ads than just setting up a campaign and hitting “publish.” If I didn’t figure that out, I was only going to keep losing money. The turning point came when I realized I needed to approach ads differently from the offer, to the creative, to the targeting. Once that clicked, I finally started seeing traction instead of donations to Meta and Google. Curious who else here went through that phase of losing money before realizing there’s more to it than just running ads?
