Not that surprising to see why many people choose Alexander. Diogenes is not easy life.
ethics and whats right or wrong
hello people have u ever thought about ethics in a very logical way what makes something wrong or right its weird cuz all of us know whats wrong and whats right but we cant say for sure why so. for exp why is walking in public with only a boxer wrong or why is eating dogs wrong theres no answer to these questions thats why i think the best thing to do is to follow a religion cuz thinking about everything logically will not lead u to an answer it will just lead u to nothing has meaning cuz it all dies

But why follow a religion and why is the idea "nothing has meaning everything eventually comes to an end" bad anyways why would we need to follow a religion to avoid this. I don't understand.

@Real One Correlation isn’t causation. Many safe countries are religious and many violent ones are religious toowhat actually predicts safety is strong institutions, education, and rule of law, not belief itself. Morality that relies on shame isn’t morality it’s compliance. If something is only “wrong” because it’s labeled sinful, then right and wrong disappear the moment belief disappears. Religion can give comfort, sure but comfort ≠ truth, and unanswered questions don’t become answered just because a system tells you to stop questioning. And feeling belonging abroad doesn’t prove religion is true it proves humans crave identity and community, which exist with or without religion.
