Sisyphus
Albert Camus wrote, "One must imagine Sisyphus happy." Do you actually believe he is happy?

@Julian K it's a metaphor for the human condition. If Sysiphus is happy pushing a stone for eternity then we can find fulfillment in this world devoid of meaning. I'm leaving out metaphysics and personal beliefs here as Albert Camus did in his essay "The Myth of Sysiphus".
Lighter
Look at this lighter. We have a direct perception of this lighter. We also have a conceptual understanding that what we percive is “lighter”. But out conception of what a lighter is differ slightly. Even so we both have the “knowledge” that this is in fact a lighter. Meaning our conception of “lighter” both reach the socially applied standard. Meaning we have knowledge. Words represent standards of conception, a standard constructed by constant communication between millions of people. You know what else was constructed in this manner? Chat g p muthafaking t.

This place is retarded
I came in expecting people who actually care about what Mr Ramboh talks about, people trying to build something, get better, move with intention. Instead, it’s like I walked into a daycare for grown adults. Half the people here can’t put together a coherent sentence, but somehow have the confidence to ask the most retarded questions like they just discovered thinking yesterday. And the rest? Elite squad of loser nerds hosting philosophy TED Talks, debating the meaning of life like it’s a full-time job, instead of, you know, actually doing anything meaningful with theirs. No direction, no standards, no urgency. Just a whole lot of fucking static noise dressed up as “deep thinking.” Yeah… I think I’ve seen enough. Time to upgrade my tier, because this ain’t it. Thank you for understanding :)

I cant stand the pain
When I make a mistake or encounter a bad situation (related to me), I feel terrible and it causes me emotional pain that doesn't go away for a day or two. To relieve this pain, I want to smoke a cigarette or drink alcohol. What do you think I should do?

I think you're guided by the impulsive part of the soul or the appetite. According to Plato reason, appetite, and spirit are the parts of the soul. Reason is what guides the spirit and appetite. But spirit and appetite can still take control and overule. Spirit would be noble or moral whilst appetite would be barbaric and selfish. The appetite is the "lowest" part of the soul and when guided by this you become part of the broad population of people who never find truth or seek it. Where as ones guided by reason/ balance of the soul can become kings, and those of spirit can adhere to the kings of reason and present nobility and morality.

@Yusuf Ekin look I've been through a lot because of a mistake I've made. I've been through pain of a lot of lies that people made about me and rumours. I even had to go into a court of law to extinguish these rumours. You need to stop dwelling on what other people think of you and you need to use your intelligence to understand your worth. Then you need to use the gifts that you possess and work towards this exam because you have 2 months and that is plenty of time. I don't want to be harsh but I got to tell you. You got to stop crying like little baby and be a man. If this exam is so important then why the f*** do you care about what people think? If they are bullying you, you need to understand that it genuinely doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. It may be hurting your feelings but what's going to hurt your feelings even more is when you wake up in 5 years and realise how poorly you did on this test and how much better your life would be if you had focused on it. So you need to lock in and wake up because this test isn't going to do itself all right and your emotional pain now is going to be a learning moment for you in the future on how to change your mindset and for you to understand your own intelligence. If you made this mistake, obviously you had to learn from it and you may think you've learnt from it but you probably haven't yet. So stay focused on the exam and get it done and use all your effort towards that. I'll be praying for you. Lock in.
