Cycle 2 is officially wrapped, and we’re excited to announce the builders taking home a share of the $17,000 USDC prize pool. The Community Council decided to split 2nd place between two builders this cycle: 🥇 Knock by @Kaichao Sun: $7,000 An encrypted chat built on Nimiq where users can set a connection cost for strangers while keeping conversations private. Knock also supports sending and receiving NIM directly in chats, tipping other community members, and joining public group conversations. 🥈 Blacktop by @Jesse Lukose: $4,000 A privacy-first ride companion built for real riders and real rides, whether you’re riding solo or with a crew. Blacktop combines ride tracking with Pay Up, its built-in wallet, plus Blacktank, a shared crew fuel pot that only pays out with a unanimous vote, and instant QR tips in NIM or USDT. 🥈 NIMIQ.kids by @Andjroo Me: $4,000 A family Mini App that turns chores into real NIM. Parents set rewards, kids complete jobs, and approved rewards are sent directly to an account the child owns. Kids can then spend it on screen time and treats, keeping the whole flow within the family. 🥉 PROOF by @Christopher Okunade: $2,000 A learning platform that combines AI-powered skill paths, real-world challenges, and verified proofs to help users demonstrate what they can actually do. The goal is to turn learning into something you can prove, showcase, and use to unlock new opportunities. Big thanks to the Community Council for reviewing every submission and selecting this cycle’s winners. And of course, thank you to everyone who built and shipped a Mini App this cycle. You made Cycle 2 one to remember, and we’re excited to see where you take things next. Want to dive deeper into the winning submissions? Parents set the jobs and the price. Kids do them. One approval from the parent's phone and real NIM lands in an account that belongs to the kid. The kid spends it back on screen time and treats, so the money circles back to the family. Goals are separate: parent and kid set one together, it becomes a path of steps, and the prize waits at the top. It stops being a chore and starts being a game. Built for my own house and tested all month on two tablets with my kids. Five languages. Use any URL or try it in the Nimiq Pay app today. https://nimiq.kids/ https://youtu.be/Aobwj-1cBdk

what killed your parents will kill you. if you don't actively work towards preventing it. that's why I built Preventah on Nimiq. when you enter your family health history, Preventah turns it into a practical daily prevention routine: • personalized prevention plan • daily check-ins • optional measurements • reminders • a USDT commitment to keep showing up not a diagnosis. not a prescription. just a way to turn what runs in your family into what you do every day. built for the Nimiq Mini Apps Competition. try it - preventah-nimiq.vercel.app
