How do y'all start a project?
I think you sometimes really have to switch up your process to be more creative, so i thought i would ask y'all how you usually start, or what are some of your favorite ways you like to start a project!

I prefer to start writing instruments first and then drums cuz it’s easier to write drums than write instruments, my favourite way would be starting with a chord prog and building from there, it just makes writing demos and ideas much easier

im working on an lp and dont wanna sample as much, how can i get achieve such music or what should i take in mind?

Yuss bro smth that i did when I started making 80s music a couple months back was I had a playlist of tracks that inspire me (not like a playlist of tracks I just listen to everyday, a playlist with the kinda tracks that inspire new ideas and push me to sample stuff), that could rlly help you with any genre when you have something to refer to when you wanna make samples/beats, hope that helpss
