so i have just found out that my midi keyboard has insane latency. the keyboard that im using as a midi keyboard is actually just a regular yamaha stage key board with a midi feature i use all the time and i just today noticed that whenever i try to press the keys exactly on time with the metronome its always extremely off and when i play it slightly before (which i apperantly have been doing for a full year without even realizing until now) its way more on time. so then i tried with the key boards speakers and oh my god it feels so much better😭. but now im so used to playing slightly early that its harder not too but still hard to play early????????? idk what to do should i stay practicing with latency or not???

I think you sometimes really have to switch up your process to be more creative, so i thought i would ask y'all how you usually start, or what are some of your favorite ways you like to start a project!
