Understanding Conversion Plateaus in Scaling Dropshipping Stores
Has anyone else noticed that more traffic doesn’t always mean more sales? One of my stores is pulling consistent traffic daily, ads are optimized, CTR is solid… but conversion is sitting under 4–5% and feels capped. Before anyone says “bad product” or “fix your ads,” I’ve tested variations already. I’m starting to think the issue is not traffic-related at all, but something deeper most people ignore. Curious to hear different perspectives what do you think usually causes this plateau?
I Think I’m Sabotaging My Shopify Store Without Realizing It…
I’ve spent 3 weeks comparing products, ended up choosing something way too saturated, and now my ads aren’t converting. My store looks meh, Google Merchant Center keeps rejecting me, and the supplier is taking ages to ship orders. I’m starting to think I priced the product too low too. Honestly, I’m scared to keep launching because nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?

You didn’t mess up you just skipped the validation stage. The niche is too broad, so the product feels generic. Your product page needs benefits, not just features. Fix the niche, upgrade the page, improve the visuals — conversions will rise.
