New free download — Build Your Own AI Operating System
There's a new guide in the Classroom. It's the build-it-yourself version of BOB: 12 prompts that walk you through the actual architecture — audit what you already have, give it a data model, write the operating instructions, package a skill, chain a playbook, and wire it together. The same structure ThirdBrain BOB runs on, done by hand. Free to download, work through it at your own pace. Fair warning: building it by hand is the long way round — which is rather the point. Once you've felt how the pieces fit, you'll understand exactly what the Starter Vault is doing when it stands the whole thing up in about 30 minutes. But the guide stands on its own, and you'll learn more building it yourself. Grab it: Classroom → Build Your Own AI Operating System (v1.0). https://www.skool.com/thirdbrain-tech-3102/classroom/82cf0c4f?md=5b213bb3f93e43b384e292ef1e875f21

This looks interesting. Is there a demo or preview of BOB available? I’d like to check first if it fits what I’m trying to build before going deeper into the guide.

@Carine Bruyndoncx Thank you, I downloaded and reviewed the files. I also asked ChatGPT to help me understand them, and they seem very useful. I’m still trying to avoid getting overwhelmed, so I wanted to ask if you have any demo videos showing this being used with an actual setup, especially with Obsidian. From what I understand, most of these are skills/playbooks that can be implemented with tools like Codex, Hermes, or Paperclip. The skills seem especially useful when creating Paperclip agents, Hermes profiles, or even Codex-style runtime agents. For example, a Marketing Manager agent, Operations Manager agent, Content Planner agent, etc. My current plan is to use Codex, Hermes Desktop, a centralized Obsidian knowledge base for all AI tools and focused agents, and a centralized “soul” or identity reference that all agents can use so they stay aligned with my brand and workflow. Would love to see a practical demo of how you would connect or organize something like that.
