Website audit - How it's done
I added a new PDF to the example Website Audit section. It explains the full website audit report pipeline: which skills are involved, which parts come from Starter vs Marketing Free vs QMS Pro, and how the final branded report is assembled. Useful if you want to understand what sits behind the “nice report” output before running your own audit.

@Milakaa Merritt this PDF has the behind the scenes info for the website-audit skill.
BOB Starter vault v2.4.0 released
Release v2.4.0 of the starter vault is updated. What's new/different 1. KPI loop v2 + the scoreboard — new KPI.base (RAG scoreboard with live values + trend sparklines) and the whole KPI-note machinery. 2. ~15 new Bases (data views) — KPI.base, and a finance/ops set: Fixed-Assets, Leases, ECL-Assessments, Period-Closes, Provisions, Performance-Obligations, Gratuity-Provisions, WPS-Records, References, Audit-Processes, Operational-Audit, Processes, Content-Calendar, courseware-tracking, plus pomodoro-stats. 3. BOB Workspace coverage expansion — new nav groups (Marketing / HR & People / Research & Knowledge), Finance "Assets & Close", Audit wired, explicit base wiring (the plugin config + entities changed). 4. Datamodel refinements (60 schema files) — new entities behind those Bases (fixed-asset, lease, ECL, period-close, provisions, performance-obligation, gratuity, WPS, references, audit-processes), kpi_category: product, meeting company_id/company_type, conditional client_id, period-close reconciliation. 5. Skill content upgrades (227 skill files) — same 167 skills, but many rewritten/deepened. The most visible changeis in the BOB workspace with tighter base integration, widgets and help system built-in.

⚙️ Welcome to the Skills corner.
This is where the actual work gets done. WHAT A SKILL IS A skill is a set of instructions that turns your AI tool into a specialist for one job — write a proposal, qualify a lead, draft a follow-up, close the books, build a content piece. You point your AI at a real task and it runs the skill end to end. Skills run in the AI tool you already use — Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini. BOB doesn't replace your AI. It gives it a job description. USING SKILLS ON THEIR OWN (no vault) This is the front door for most people, and it's free. Download one of the free packs in the Classroom — Business, Marketing, Sales, Media, or Enterprise. Drop it where your AI reads skills, point one skill at a real task, and get a win. That's it. Skills work standalone. They don't need the vault, the plugin, or Obsidian to do their job. The free packs are real, working tools — dozens of them, free, forever. Don't try to learn all of them. Run ONE on something real this week. USING SKILLS WITH THE FULL BOB VAULT Inside the Starter Vault, the same skills get a system around them: ✅ They auto-load — no manual wiring into your AI every time ✅ Outputs land in the right folder, with the right structure, automatically ✅ Playbooks chain skills into outcomes — "launch a product", not "run skill #7, then #12" ✅ Work compounds — research feeds proposals, context survives across sessions, last month's output feeds this month's On their own, skills produce great output that runs into the void. In the vault, that output connects and accumulates. POST HERE WHEN YOU WANT TO: • Ask "how do you use skill X?" • Share a prompt or a tip that made a skill work better • Report a skill that misbehaved • Request a skill for a task you keep repeating by hand That last one matters: tell us the thing you re-explain to your AI every single session. The ceremonies that come up most often become the next skills we build. New here? Start with "What Is BOB? The Complete Picture" in the Classroom, then grab one free pack.

🧩 Welcome to the BOB Workspace corner.
This is the dashboard layer — the part you actually look at every day. WHAT BOB WORKSPACE IS BOB Workspace is an Obsidian plugin. It turns a wall of notes into a workspace: dashboards, navigation, task boards, and live views of your data, all on one screen. The plugin is free and public on GitHub. You can install it into any Obsidian vault, today, without buying anything from us. USING THE PLUGIN ON ITS OWN (no BOB vault) Grabbed just the plugin? Great — you're in the right place. On its own, BOB Workspace is a flexible shell you point at your own notes: • Build dashboards and navigation for whatever you already track • Add lists, boards, charts, and embedded table views • Shape it with one config file (workspace.json) It's a generic, tweakable UI over plain markdown. Bring your own structure and it'll display it. USING IT WITH THE FULL BOB VAULT Inside the Starter Vault, the plugin arrives pre-wired: ✅ Dashboards already mapped to the data model — clients, deals, content, finance, tasks ✅ Workspace layout tuned so you SEE your business the moment you open it ✅ Updates itself as your skills drop new files into the right folders Same plugin. The difference is everything it's plugged into. THE HONEST PART The plugin isn't the magic — it's the window. The real value is the structure, the data model, and the skills underneath it. That's exactly why we give the plugin away: it costs you nothing and it's a fair preview of how the whole thing feels. POST HERE WHEN YOU WANT TO: • Ask about installing the plugin (BRAT) or getting it running • Customize your workspace.json — widgets, dashboards, layout • Share a workspace layout you built • Report something that looks off in the UI New here? "What Is BOB? The Complete Picture" in the Classroom shows how the plugin fits with the skills and the vault. 👉 https://www.skool.com/thirdbrain-tech-3102/classroom/27f45bf5 — Carine

👋 Welcome to the Obsidian corner.
This is the layer everything else sits on — so let's start here. WHAT OBSIDIAN IS Obsidian is a free, local-first notes app. Your files are plain text (.md) on your own disk — no cloud required, no lock-in, no subscription to read your own work. You can leave any time and your notes are still just files. For BOB, that "plain files on your disk" part is the whole point: your AI works on the same files you do. USING OBSIDIAN ON ITS OWN (no BOB) Plenty of people here use Obsidian as a plain notes app — and that's perfectly fine. Folders, links between notes, instant search, a big plugin ecosystem. If that's you, you're welcome here. Ask away. USING OBSIDIAN WITH BOB When Obsidian sits over the BOB vault, it stops being a notes app and becomes the dashboard for your business: ✅ Dashboards (Bases) that SHOW your clients, deals, content and finances — not just folders of files ✅ A folder structure + data model so every AI output has a place to live ✅ Templates and views so things look the same every time THE HONEST PART Obsidian is recommended, but NOT required. The AI and the skills run identically without it. What you lose without Obsidian is the human experience — the dashboards, the instant "here's your file" moment, a workspace instead of a folder of raw text. You don't lose capability. ONE THING TO KNOW BOB's AI-into-vault setup is desktop-only — Windows (with WSL), macOS, or Linux. Mobile Obsidian is great for reading and light edits, but the AI workflows run on desktop. POST HERE WHEN YOU WANT TO: • Ask "how do I do X in Obsidian?" • Share a plugin or a vault-organization tip • Get unstuck on install, sync, or setup • Show off how you've arranged your own vault New to all of this? Start with "What Is BOB? The Complete Picture" in the Classroom — it puts the three layers in one place. 👉 https://www.skool.com/thirdbrain-tech-3102/classroom/27f45bf5 — Carine
