< 2 Minute Sidequest: Rant-Question
Anyone else here over-think and get annoyed with the language we use in our everyday? Today, i'm thinking specifically about - AI: artificial intelligence. Originally, i wrote a whole rant overexplaining myself on my stance, but who really wants to read an essay about it. And, we're all AI nerds. We get it. Thesis: We stop calling AI artificial intelligence and begin calling it Assisted Intelligence. (and so thinking of it as such - subconsciously, through the use of language) Or at least that's how i'm going to be translating AI in my mind. Assisted intelligence to get shit done. (with folders & files - not rocket science) Somehow it removes a tiny bit of friction from the whole drama that is AI right now. Anyone else have thoughts? (also i'm sure someone on the internet already posited this same thought, because of course someone has. am sharing this without referencing to perhaps serve as a welcome distraction in our pursuits, hope you're having a nice day!)

@Bas Rosario that warmed my heart! Thank you for saying that :)
Good news
This course set me up with the knowledge. One of my clients is picking up 10 seats of Claude enterprise and I’ll be leading the team on how to get set up correctly for the long term. Cheers. Let’s hope this is just the beginning!

This is inspiring @Alexander Paschka! Something similar happened to me. I had presented Jake's structure as a method to standardise AI use at the enterprise i work for and they created a R&D role for me to implement this across the company, am very thankful to both this company and @Jake Van Clief

@Mi Lo that’s awesome to hear!! Congratulations :)
THANKYOU (Edit of :I need your help but it's optional. )
UPDATE: SHE GOT INTO THE NEXT ROUND THANKYOU ALL SO MUCH. Another round of voting this week if you want it keep voting for us ! Completely unrelated to AI. My stepdaughter is in a competition to meet Jeff corwin. (My childhood hero when it came to animals) And she just needs a vote in a competition everyday for the next few days. Completely free to cast one vote. So if anyone is willing to just click the link and cast a vote that would be super nice. Totally don't have to as I understand this is completely separate from AI lol https://jr-ranger.org/2026/wylder-533c

Ironic really, before this my biggest battle was telling my clients - know when to use machine learning. Not every problem needs a data science solution. Now it's the same line of thought with different buzzwords haha!

i like the idea of both, have an AI that verifies facts on wikipedia before synthesis, like a fine-tuned RAG but i'd go with a graph rag rather than a vector rag :) but this is ignoring the context of a survival situation.
