Exciting new app challenge: build a Power Apps application that would manage someone's internet bookmarks! Please review the video below! Challenge ends at the end of January 2024! ========== 0:02 How are you guys doing today? I want to share with you guys an app challenge. This is the first time I've done this. 0:12 Challenge to do, to write an app. And what I'd like for everybody to do is take this idea. I'm gonna, I'm gonna give you very vague requirements, okay? 0:21 I'm not giving you written requirements. I'm gonna give you verbal requirements. So, I'd love for each of you to participate, uhh, in this, okay? 0:30 So, uhh, this is what I'm gonna call an app challenge for an app idea I have. It's actually an app that I need. 0:39 And I don't have time to write it, okay? Internet bookmarks and favorites. You guys see this bar at the top of my browser? 0:47 This is what I use from my, my shortcut. It's my bookmarks and everything. And this is just one browser profile, by the way. 0:56 In my main Chrome browser, I have so many internet bookmarks going across the top. They go all the way across and I, I typically hide, umm, the, the text. 1:11 And, and what's sorta cool about, umm Edge, is that I could say, they show icon only. Umm, but typically, I just got all these icons going across and then they go all the way down and I have to scroll. 1:26 What I want is a Power Apps application, okay? I'm gonna set as my homepage and I wanna have all my internet bookmarks just to be fully right there on that screen. 1:37 And instead of like, oh, where's that link, where's that link, you know, they're all gonna be displayed here in the middle of the screen for me in a Power apps application. 1:45 Okay. So, I'm gonna put this video out on school for you guys to see. And I would love for you guys to ask questions, umm, you know, maybe you guys have some questions on requirements or something, but that's, that's pretty much it. 1:59 Okay. I just wanna have a Power Apps application and, umm, I'd have to say Dataverse would probably be the best data source because it's the easiest the past.
