Claude as translator
My father bequeathed me a stack of journals he wrote while recovering from TB at the end of World War II, he was documenting his time in the Wehrmacht, and what it was like on the Eastern Front, where millions died. I have spent decades searching for a way to get these translated. They were written in an old German cursive, so it was tricky. I woke up at 3 in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep when I had the realization that maybe AI can help with their translation. I started scanning some of the first pages and shared them with Claude. Within seconds, my mind was blown... I have a free translator now that can help me write the book, my dad wanted to see me produce! I want to strategize a way now to be able to dedicate hours and hours to the scanning and find payment. I'm thinking AI might be able to suggest a way or even do marketing for donors/patrons to this historical project.

@AI Advantage Team Yeah, thank you for asking. What I remember him telling me is that they were dictations to his then wife. He said he changed some names, but based it on his experience. It's 710 pages along these thin journals. Then there are his personal diaries, written in his much rougher handwriting, about 10 of them. I was thinking Patreon, and sharing the work as it is revealed from my work, and then maybe offering a self-published completed book to the backers. There are maps and illustrations, too. Maybe when I'm finished scanning them all in, offering them for sale at supportive price. I might have to go to AI to figure what could be the most sustainable approach, as this could take some time, and I'd like to immerse myself in it full-time.

You're not actually lazy, you're just stressed
Use this ChatGPT prompt to help you eliminate noise & distractions, so you can focus on what's most important to achieving your goal: “I’m stuck at the starting line. Based on everything you know about me… acting as my brutally honest entrepreneur coach, ask me questions one at a time, until you can successfully diagnose the ONE mindset block most likely holding me back. Then reframe it. Finally, compress my 90-day plan into a 2-week 'proof sprint' that proves I can succeed and helps me create a bias for action.” 🚀🚀

This is great. I'm in the middle of it now and Chat GPT is saying: "You’re not lazy. You’re avoiding reenacting a past trap." Resonates so true.
🧠 Results Aren’t Random...They’re Earned in the Reps No One Sees
Just wrapped my morning workout and was reminded of this… Putting in the work matters... in the gym, in business, in life. Everyone wants the result: ➡️ The energy ➡️ The confidence ➡️ The example you set for your family But none of that happens by accident. The gym can be lonely. It’s easy to avoid. Easy to justify skipping. But if you want the outcome…you have to show up. Your business is the same. You can’t build something meaningful over a weekend and expect it to carry you for decades. You’ll question yourself, sweat, repeat the reps no one sees, and say “no” now so you can say “yes” later. Wherever you want results — your body, your career, your relationships — it all comes down to consistent work. And in every case I’ve ever seen…it’s worth it.

Oof, I could never skip the gym, I've built such a habit to be there every morning, and at my age, don't need to do as much as I used to. My mornings have such a rigorous flow to them nowadays. I do get stuck in what I have to do next with my nascent business. I'm trying to get slightly more organized, but all the days have different demands at times.
A cautionary note on AI
I just watched a stunning interview with an AI expert who advises we slow down the AI race, and I tend to agree. My primary mission in the world as an embodied relationship coach is to slow the world down. I've used AI very discerningly these past few months, partly because I believe it helped put me out of a job, and also because I am looking to start a career helping people. I decided not to explore creating an AI avatar, but I do explore the tools provided here-- discerningly. My reason for this post is to share the video, and start a discussion that adds some discernment in the community in how we can intentionally use AI without it costing our creativity, personal beliefs, and humanity, however "flawed" they might be. Watch the video, and let me know what message or motivation comes out of these two powerful humans discussing AI and its future implications to careers, families, educations, and relationships among humans: https://doac-perks.com/r/YjwLAFFplH
