I've been busy
Hey y'all! You're girls been real busy. We secured a rv, got it to the property, got power out to it (still working on water) and have most of our car projects moved down. Our last day in the apartment is Friday and we are almost fully packed and moved. I realized I've been so busy aside from a few up close pictures I took for Inaturalist I've not taken any of the set up or our space, except for one single picture I took looking out over the creek that is basically our front yard. So I'll share that for now. Hope everyone is having a great spring and their gardens are growing well.

I ate them once years ago, they were good but Ive never had hostas in my yard before ... There is a gigantic patch right behind where we park our cars at the new place. So I'll be trying it...next year again
Finally got boots on the ground
Hey everyone, I was quiet for a bit after my maw maw passed but spring has officially sprung and I can't not share pictures again. For those of you following, this is our first week in the country. We picked up sticks cleared two trees and are bush hogging today so we have a spot to set up an RV. We are going to be overlooking a creek to one side and have a field out back down the hill that I have free reign to fill with delicious native food. (It used to be soy beans) I am beyond excited and can't wait to share with you all how it goes. I haven't taken many pictures because we are too busy making lasting memories but here's a kinda shitty picture of a bluebell for picture tax.
Finally got boots on the ground

๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒฟMarch Challenge & New Course!๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒž
๐ŸŒฟ Get Ready to Grow! ๐ŸŒฟ Spring is almost hereโ€ฆ and March is our month to prepare. Before the rush of planting and harvesting begins, this is the perfect time to build, make, mix, and start the things that will set us up for a beautiful, productive growing season. ๐ŸŒž This monthโ€™s theme is Get Ready to Grow - and Iโ€™ve created something special to go along with it. I put together a course with 31 simple garden projects to spark ideas and inspiration. You do not need to complete all 31. Think of it as a menu - small, doable projects that help you move forward one step at a time. This course is available to everyone for the month of March so click over to the "Classroom" Tab and check it out!๐ŸŒฑ Hereโ€™s the heart of the challenge: Each week in March, choose projects that help prepare your garden for the upcoming season - and post about what youโ€™re making or growing in the community so we can inspire each other. ๐Ÿ’š Your project might be: ๐Ÿ”จ Structures โ€ข Build a trellis โ€ข Make a cold frame โ€ข Create raised beds or planters ๐ŸŽจ Decor โ€ข Paint garden rocks โ€ข Make plant markers โ€ข Design a garden sign ๐ŸŒฟ Soil โ€ข Start a compost system โ€ข Mix your own potting soil โ€ข Refresh garden beds ๐Ÿ’ง Watering Systems โ€ข Make an olla โ€ข Set up simple drip irrigation โ€ข Create a rainwater collection system ๐ŸŒฑ Seedlings โ€ข Start sprouts โ€ข Plant seeds indoors โ€ข Grow your first plant starts This isnโ€™t about perfection. Itโ€™s about momentum. โœจ One small project a week can completely change how prepared and confident you feel when planting season arrives AND you donโ€™t need a big garden to do this - Iโ€™ve got projects for tiny spaces and apartments too! So, Post pictures. ๐Ÿ“ธ Share your progress. Show us your messy workbench, your half-built trellis, your tiny seedlings. When we see each other building and growing, it reminds us that we can do it too. ๐ŸŒผ Letโ€™s spend March laying the groundwork - literally and figuratively - so when spring fully arrives, weโ€™re ready. Whoโ€™s in?! ๐ŸŒธ
