Gypsy pickups
Hee i'm scanning the options for gypsy-jazz pickups. What do you guys recommend? Contact microphones or normal pickups? And what are price-wise good options? The options are also very limited on marketplace... Help me out!

Hey Lars 😉, Krivo Pickups have a good name in the community and seem easier to handle than Stimer (Django) style pick-ups. A better value for money could be a „Lingotino“ made by Antonio Surdo in Italy: antonio_surdo@yahoo.it I would also invest into a pedal size pre-amp with XLR out and a decent equalizer. Microphones are dificult to handle on stage from my perspective.

Dear Thomas, great I'd love to join, especially the Tuesday session. I play most Jazz and Bossa Standards, the Gypsy style is quite new for me. So I'd be very happy to be invited 🤩
