MEDICAL VAs: Opportunity in your Community
Ladies with medical experience.... the opportunity to provide simple remote services is all around you and in abundance. I have a doctors appointment in a bit at a facility where I will be a new patient. This place was rated THE BEST in our county, and it was referred to me by another business that was rated THE BEST in their industry in our county... So naturally I expected they'd be up to date with their systems etc... I'm not throwing shade, but I want you all to pay attention here.... They asked me to complete my forms before arrival. Cool. I thought I was going to get some HIPPAA compliant system set up to log into. I was actually eager to see what medical facilities are using these days for my own learning purposes. NOPE. I got a PDF of an OLD set of scanned documents. They're not even e-fillable where I can complete electronically and print. You know what's gonna happen when I walk into that office today, right? PITCH JULY starts at 3:25 PM !!! 😆 Thing is - my son's pediatrician and dentist - same thing. Tired looking paper forms. At the very least, I can provide clean presentable versions. When I say there is opportunity to provide remote services and make a decent purse in your community - I mean that literally. Think about the last time you went to any office where you had to complete paperwork - were you doing that manually or digitally? If manually - could the forms use an update? What's stopping you from pitching services to a place like this?

How much do you charge for HIPAA compliance work? As a chronic illness warrior I see this kind of out-of-date forms situation All. The. Time! I would be keen to capitalize on the opportunity.

@Chastity Cortijo Thank you for the detailed reply. I have some dr appts coming up and will be keeping my eyes open on their compliance. 🥳
🍵 Social Media Sunday T.E.A. - One Concept Five Posts Framework
Hey VAs! Every Sunday, I drop a Social Media Sunday T.E.A. post in Do the Boring Work to give the ladies ideas on what to post to attract specific industry clients. This week is a little different. Instead of focusing on an industry I want to share with you something that will change how you think about content forever. You do not need more ideas. You need to do more with the ones you already have. Here is the framework: ONE idea. ONE story. ONE lesson. And turn it into 5 pieces of content using the T.E.A. framework. Trust. Education. Authority. Plus a blog and an email. Five days of content. One idea. Zero starting from scratch. Here is how it works using a real VA example. Let's say your concept is: Business owners do not know how to delegate. ✅ Monday — Trust Post Start with connection. Make them feel seen. "I remember when a client handed me a task with zero instructions and expected me to read her mind. I was new. I did not want to ask too many questions. So I guessed. And got it wrong. That experience taught me everything about what proper delegation actually looks like." This builds trust. They see themselves in your story. ✅ Wednesday — Education Post Teach them something practical. "If you are a business owner struggling to delegate here are three things your VA needs before they can do the task right. A clear description of what done looks like. Access to the tools they need. And one example of how you have done it before. That is it. Three things. Most owners skip all three and wonder why the work comes back wrong." This builds credibility. They learn something they can use today. ✅ Friday — Authority Post Show the result. "This is how I helped a client go from micromanaging every task to fully handing off her inbox, her scheduling, and her social media in 30 days. We started with one task. Documented it. Built a system around it. Then handed off the next one. Now she does not touch any of it. That is what proper delegation looks like when both sides show up right."
