AI vs Virtual Assistant : Should I be Worried? 😟
Lately, I’ve been thinking about something that honestly makes me a little worried. 😞 Today, I watched a YouTube video about AI and the future of Virtual Assistant jobs. It mentioned that AI could potentially replace many VA tasks—and maybe even VA jobs in the future. As someone looking to build my career as a VA, I can’t help but wonder: Will AI replace Virtual Assistants, or will it simply help us work smarter and faster? 🤖 I’d love to hear from experienced VAs—what do you think?

@Erin Booth question, cause now the AI comments have my brain spinning. I love Claude and have the pro account. I’ve not gotten far enough with it to use it for coding. Do you have any tutorials even if not yours to share how to work the coding?

I’m with Mike loads of info. Taking notes down
What are some suggested apps and tools for a new VA?
I'm still in the beginning stages of the Blueprint as I haven't had time this week to really dive in. Life has been lifing 😮‍💨. Two kiddos going to college has been fun 😬. Anyhow, what are some free apps or tools that can be used across the board regardless of services you are offering that you recommend? And what do you use it for? I feel like I've seen some tools mentioned on here that I've never heard of or seen and wouldn't know how to use them. I guess I need the dumb down version 😂. Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions.

@Amanda Martinotti thank you for sharing only ones I'm not familiar with are Asana and Notion. I'll look into these. I've glanced through Udemy but I will take another look and see if they have some upskill I'm interested in. I appreciate you.😊

@Erin Booth I’m biased toward Claude too 😊. Thank you for sharing your list.
Happy Friday! 🎉
It's been a big week in here and I want to hear from YOU. What made you feel proud of yourself this week? Big, small, "I showed up even though I didn't feel like it," all of it counts. Drop it below. One win, one sentence, that's the whole assignment. 😁

This week was rough mentally for me. So I’m gonna say I made it through. I have a business name but don’t know what I want for a logo. I’m open to recommendations on where I can find logo ideas and inspiration.

Welcome Anike!!! Take the leap of faith for sure. I've been wanting to become a VA since like 2012 and was too afraid and the resources were limited. Wishing you all the best and when in doubt ask here in the community. Erin always takes time to help is out. She may not reply immediately but, she will reply when she has a moment. I'm still learning so at the moment I don't have anything to share except to encourage you to take the leap. Hope to see you around here on the community. 😊
New but Eager!
Hello community I’m new here and have been dreaming of being a virtual assistant for sometimes seems to be going in circles though because I never feel like I have enough ready to get going. However, from what I understand, I just need to start. I’m here to learn everything that I can and gain knowledge and experience from everyone here.
