Client questions & concerns
Hi everyone! What are some common points of friction you have noticed when delivering to clients? What are some questions or concerns they may raise before implementing your AI tools into their business? I would think data security is a big one, but I'm sure there are many more... Have a great day, Greg

@Mathieu Modesto I would agree the most important thing is to deliver the desired outcome. However have you noticed clients who are resistant to AI tools even if the outcome is as expected? For example: "I love your product, but I'm not sure about AI..."

@Mathieu Modesto I like this approach - start with "why" rather than "what". Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

@Nazmul Hasan I’m new to the space, my background is hospitality operations. Most small hospitality businesses don’t have IT teams and are very practical focused, so many of them haven’t integrated AI yet unless the managers are open to it. My idea is to provide a service whereby I can create personalised automations (and agents if necessary) which fit into the current system. It’s such a dynamic environment, so if something linear like an automation can provide more consistency and save time behind the computer, it may be interesting for them - especially if these automations are made with the hospitality mindset. Keeping the human touch and brand identity is essential to these businesses, so this is why I’m considering building most workflows from scratch. Thanks for your questions!

@Nazmul Hasan I feel comfortable making very basic workflows, but it's difficult to properly learn without a real context so I believe the best way to overcome this is to start learning by doing, preferably with a couple of first clients who are more flexible and willing to give me some time. There are still many things I don't know though, and one of my biggest concerns is data security - how to control it & explain it to clients. This is why I like your idea of me being the idea generator and working with an expert to cover the AI part, and I'm open to exploring this strategy. However, I do wonder whether it would make more sense for me to face the steep learning curve first, move a bit slowly initially, but in the end I would be able to do both tasks. I'm currently exploring what my options are, and the best way to do this is by discussing and sharing with others like yourself 😃
I spent 1 month learning. Made $0. Then changed ONE thing.
Watched every tutorial. Read every guide. Joined every community. But my bank account? Still at zero. I stopped learning and started asking. Instead of building "another practice workflow," I messaged 15 businesses on LinkedIn: "𝐈 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲. 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝟏𝟓-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭?" 9 ignored me. 4 said no. 2 said "sure, why not?" That "sure, why not?" turned into: - 30-minute discovery call - $800 project - My first real client testimonial - 1 referrals in the next month The brutal truth nobody tells you: You don't need to master n8n. You don't need another certification. You don't need the "perfect workflow template." You need ONE conversation with ONE person who has ONE problem you can solve. That's it. Here's my question for you: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘? (Be honest. No judgment. Just trying to understand what's holding people back so we can help each other move forward.) Drop your answer below 👇 Maybe your block is someone else's solved problem.

@Ahmad Shayan Hi Ahmad, thanks for sharing your experience! I love the approach and completely agree. I understand that one doesn't need to be a master of n8n to take that step, but at what point did you feel comfortable enough with n8n to make the jump (if you consider a scale 0-100 where 0 is no knowledge, and 100 is mastery)?

@Ahmad Shayan Awesome thanks so much for sharing! It's inspiring to see how you approached it, and gives me a boost of energy & confidence to go for it. I think we tend to underestimate how much we can achieve when stepping into the unknown.
🎅 Five Prompts Santa Would Use If He Ran an Online Business
If Santa can run global logistics with one night of annual output and a workforce of highly unionised elves, the least we can do is borrow some of his strategic thinking. These five prompts are the kind he’d slip into his sleigh-side notebook. Smart. Efficient. Mildly judgmental. Zero tinsel-based nonsense. Pop them into your favourite LLM, personalise the brackets, and watch them behave like a cosy little shortcut to transparency. 🎄 1️⃣ The Nice-List Income Review Create a clear annual breakdown of my business performance using these inputs: niche = [your niche], offer = [your offer], audience = [your audience], price point = [your price], core problem solved = [problem], and main bottleneck = [bottleneck]. Analyse what actually produced results, what delivered the highest return on effort and what should receive more of my attention next year. Present everything as a simple summary I can act on confidently. Santa’s spin: Because even he checks his numbers twice. 🎁 2️⃣ The Elf-Efficiency Audit Map how my time, energy, and decision-making have been used this year, using: main tasks = [tasks], recurring responsibilities = [responsibilities], growth priorities = [priorities], and the areas that feel overcomplicated = [your list]. Categorise these by efficiency, impact and effort. Recommend what to streamline, what to simplify, and what to stop doing so my workload feels lighter but produces stronger results. Santa’s spin: Elves don’t multitask. Neither should you. 🦌 3️⃣ The Rudolph Visibility Boost Analyse my current visibility system using: platforms = [platforms], frequency = [frequency], core topic pillars = [pillars], audience pain points = [pain points], and goal for the next quarter = [goal]. Identify the strongest angles for content that actually converts, highlight gaps in message clarity, and outline a simple weekly rhythm that builds audience trust without draining my energy. Santa’s spin: There’s a reason he uses a glowing-nose brand ambassador.
