Meet Chen… and apparently, you can ask him ANYTHING 😆
I sat down with Chen from Gallstones Tribe to find out a little more about the events he runs and, as usual with Chen, the conversation went in several directions! His upcoming webinar dives into gallstones from a Chinese medicine perspective. It is primarily aimed at Chinese medicine practitioners, but Chen explains that the first part is open to anyone curious about gallstones, whether for themselves or someone they know. But gallstones are really only one part of what Chen can talk about. With decades of experience in holistic health, Chen and his wife work across a huge range of areas, from physical health and herbs to supplements, stress management, wellbeing and looking at health from a rather wider perspective than we perhaps normally do. And his events aren't going to be dry lectures either. Chen reckons his humour is part of the deal, come along, learn something AND have a bit of fun while you're doing it. 😂 In fact, towards the end of our chat he threw down a challenge: Ask him a question he can't answer. Oooooh Chen... you may regret saying that in this community. 😂 Have a watch of our conversation, meet Chen, hear more about the events he's planning and then pop your questions below. Go on. Challenge the man. 😆 You can find the lovely and wise Chen right here.

My Curiosity Is Killing Me 😬
Des and I would love to get some feedback from you in relation to the articles we provide in the Weekly Events Bulletin that goes here , there and everywhere. This will help us moving forward with what we have planned, which of course I know we haven't let you in on our plans as yet, but that time is coming soon my friends. So, please take part in our poll and tell us which articles you read in the Weekly Events edition .

👀 It’s getting a bit busy behind the scenes…
Des and I have been plotting again. Which, depending on your point of view, is either very exciting or mildly concerning. 😂 We’re hoping that THIS is the week we finally get to reveal what we’ve been working on behind the scenes at Skool Events Daily. And I am ridiculously excited about it. But while I’m keeping my mouth firmly zipped for just a little bit longer… 🤐 This week’s Weekly Events is ready! And there’s plenty going on. ☕ Coffee, Chat & Collab is back — bring ONE thing you need help with and let’s see if between us we can send you away with some answers, ideas or connections. 🎤 If you’re planning an event, I’ve put together 10 Things to Decide Before You Create Your Next Event — because “Ooh, I think I’ll run an event!” is generally the easy bit. 😂 And then there are pages and pages of events from some seriously talented people sharing what they know with the rest of us. So go and have a nosey, get a few things in your calendar and enjoy this week’s edition. And keep your eyes peeled… Things are about to get rather interesting around here. 👀 👇 Weekly Events is here Click on the PDF, then click the logo and the flip book will magically appear.

Want Your Expertise To Reach Thousands? I know I do.🙋‍♀️
I caught up with Rachel Harmsworth from Write Your Business Book to talk about her upcoming Write the Transformation You Teach workshops. Rachel works with coaches and experts who know they have knowledge, experience and perhaps even a book inside them, but have absolutely no idea how to get it out of their head and onto the page. In this short interview, Rachel explains how she takes away that dreaded blank page, helps you uncover and structure your idea, and why writing a book doesn’t need to become another enormous project on your already overflowing to-do list. Why listen in? Because Rachel said something that really made me sit up: her average client goes from writing their book to publishing it in around 12 weeks. So if you've been saying “One day I’ll write that book…” for the last six years, this interview might just make you question why one day hasn't arrived yet. And even if you're nowhere near ready to write it, Rachel explains why the process itself can uncover ideas about you, your business and what you actually have to teach that you may not even realise are sitting there. Give us 14 minutes. You might discover there's a book lurking in you after all.

A clever thing Danielle Drew did with her paid community during a live event
@Danielle Drew from Public Speaking - Vocal Power presented in my community yesterday, and it was fantastic, but the bit that stuck with me happened outside the call itself. For the duration of the presentation, she switched her paid community over to free. Anyone who watched could join there and then without hitting a payment wall. Once the call finished, she switched it straight back to paid. I thought that was smart. The moment right after someone's watched you teach for 45 minutes is the moment they're most likely to want more of you, and that's usually the moment a price tag gets in the way. Removing it for a couple of hours means people join on the strength of what they've just seen rather than on a decision they need to sleep on. You end up with members who already know your voice, already trust you, and already have context for what's inside. It also gives you a clean way to measure whether the presentation actually landed. Joins during the window tell you something that a chat full of nice comments doesn't. If you own a paid community and you're running events, this is worth trying. Announce it at the start of the call so people know the window exists, drop the link in the chat, and set a clear cut-off so there's a reason to act rather than bookmark it for later. Then flip it back and welcome the new members in properly. Small change, no cost, and it turns a presentation into an actual entry point. Has anyone else here tried opening their paid community up during a live event, and if so how did it go?
