Warm weather for a few days
We have had a few warm days and we started getting ready. We burned off what was left of our garden from last year and laid out the beds yesterday. Today we cut up some logs on the sawmill for the frames. Had some grandkids come over when they got done with school and a good friend helping us today. We got two frames done today and will cut up some more wood tomorrow. Going to do a total of 10 -4 ft x 25 beds and see what we can do with that. This is way different than what we are used to but looks like a whole lot less work with better results.

80 acre farm in middle TN Our family lives on an 80 acre farm in middle TN and looking to expand our knowledge on better ways to manage our land and resources. My wife and I have 3 sons and they are all married and we have 6 grandkids. I have been a framing carpenter for 30 Plus years and farmed most of my life. We are wanting to have a more holistic approach to farming than we have done in the past. Looking for other families in the area to work with.
