@Matthew Whiting Couple hours for the base to dry, although with this attempt the guitar has been sitting for a couple days when I sprayed this clear on. I'll try sanding this back and spraying with more reducer. Any tips for warming the paint? Seen videos of people microwaving it but that seems pretty sketchy.

@Matthew Whiting Thanks for the detailed response! I will have to do an in depth look at total area of the guitar body. The 1.5 oz is 1 ounce of the clear + .5 oz of the hardener, TDS is a bit unclear as to if the hardener counts as part of the area coverage per gallon. I did level sand the body and respray with 2x the amount of reducer specified and it cut back the texture quite a lot, I am still getting the solvent pop issue however. I'm moving the gun across the panels really quickly (I'd say much quicker than how fast people in move the gun in videos for wet coats). I've dialed the fluid flow back a bit as well, I'll try reducing that even further. It seems odd that the solvent pop is occurring pretty much instantly in one coat with how much reducer and low temps things are at, I didn't warm the paint for this attempt. This was sprayed about 3 hours ago, its still very soft and will probably dry down further, but the texture has already been reduced a good bit. Probably going to try USC40 or Lumabase 2000 next as the quart of Tamco I have is almost gone and this stuff has gotten really pricey.
