This program was one of the keys to my 80 pound weight loss transformation
Doing Hypno Health daily is not only one of the most joyful parts of my day, it was also a key element in being able to let go of over 70 pounds of excess weight, after years of nothing working. We do Hypno Health at all the Stress Eating Support groups on the Premium Level, and at Release the Weight on the VIP level. By the way, if you've been considering bumping up to Premium, and having access to more live group support, now is the time! It's 50 percent off until Tuesday, March 31. Currently $47 a month, goes up to $97 a month next Sunday. If you're not on those levels, you might consider looking into Hypno Health and getting the program to do on your own time. Some people think hypnosis means a loss of control. I would say it's quite the opposite. We go into states of hypnosis all the time, throughout the day...when we zone out, watch the news, get into a movie, or play video games..we go into a trance like state. The media is constantly trying to hypnotize to believe some story line or other. When you go into hypnosis intentionally, with a purpose of transforming your life in a positive direction, you actually take MORE control of your mind and your brain, not less. Rather than being pushed and pulled by the stories of the people around you, the media, or the culture at large, you start to create your own story. You don't have to believe all the suggestions of the hypnotist. You decide what you take in and what you let go. You can also tweak the affirmations to make them fit well for you. Going into a state of relaxation allows you to bring your subconscious mind aboard a journey of positive transformation. Considering that the subconscious mind is responsible for over 80 percent of our day to day decisions, it's a good ally to have any time you want to create any sort of change in your life! Have you ever tried hypnosis? What was it like? Vote in the poll below and share in the comments.

Food and Depression-is there a link?
In my experience, most definitely yes! I used to struggle with depression for many years. I also used to enjoy sweet treats and would sometimes have too many of them. Since I've started intermittent fasting, eating lots and lots of veggies, low sugar fruits, and healthy proteins and fats, and mostly staying away from processed sugar, I've felt consistently happy, enthusiastic, and at peace, and it's been over a year. I might feel occasional sadness or overwhelm, or have down days, but it feels nothing like the depression and feelings of hopelessness I used to experience in my twenties and thirties. Sugar and gluten seem to be the biggest culprits for me in bringing on feelings of depression and despair. I had a reminder of that connection yesterday. The day before, I ate two cookies that the hubby made for a wonderful family visit over the last weekend. Yesterday, I felt weepy and just generally down, for over an hour. I don't usually feel that way. I have lots of tools for shifting states like that, and I used them. It could have lasted much longer if I didn't have my tools to turn to. But I'd prefer not to feel weepy to begin with! It was a great reminder of why I choose to stay away from processed sugar and how erratic blood sugar spikes and dips affect my mood and my quality of life. Yet, I choose to never feel like I'm depriving my self, so I may still occasionally decide to have a sweet treat, depending on the circumstances. But the reality is, my life feels and flows better when I stay away from processed sugar, even organic home-made cookies! What do you think, fellow Thriver, could there be a link between food and depression? Vote in the poll and share in the comments below. The two articles below talk about the possible connection between blood sugar stability and mood, for anyone who wants to research the topic and learn more, https://www.levels.com/blog/glucose-mood https://sph.umich.edu/pursuit/2019posts/mood-blood-sugar-kujawski.html

What feels challenging?
Drop it in the comments below or create a new post in the Tricky Tuesday Category. Whether challenges are related to health and wellness, building your biz, or something else entirely, we are here for all of it. You are not alone! We all go through challenges and struggles, especially those of us who are committed to living our best lives. Big struggles can sometimes open the way to big success. J.K. Rowling was rejected hundreds of times before she hit the big time with the Harry Potter Series. Reaching out for support or words of encouragement can make all the difference.

@Vasi Smith Ahh good question. I think for me, I need to work more on getting out and having more social time and meet new friends. I'm in a relatively new city for me, so I have to work to make more community.
