I was told it was for bonding and help the baby quickly develop their sucking reflex. I was fortunate to have uninterrupted skin-to-skin with my baby, from the time he came out to when they moved us to our room, he was in my arms. It felt magical 🥹 What surprised me the most was how fast he found my breast even with his eyes closed 🥰 From the second they placed him on my chest, he went straight to the breast. I don't know if that helped with my milk supply because the same night I had milk coming in; me that was worried not to produce any milk the first days because of how flat my chess was 🫠

Thanks @Karen Gilbert for this life-saving initiative 😇 Hi, I am Grace, first-time mom of a 7-month boy. I have been exclusively breastfeeding and I would like to feel more confident with the changes, now that he has started eating solid and I'm trying to loose some weight. I've got many questions. For example, why I have over-milk supply some days and other days it is all dried up. Why my baby prefers one breast over the other, how to loose weight without drying up my milk supply.... I just don't want to feel alone in this 😣
