For the 1st step for the first letter to the three credit bureaus are we writing to them about the open accounts, closed accounts or derogatory accounts?

How To Order Your Report To Remove Hard Inquiries
I'm confused in this section. If I sign up to receive my credit report ($1) do I need to call the 3 bureaus to ask for another credit report to remove the hard inquiries/with the hard inquiries? What do I tell them when I call?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, just watched the welcome video. A bit overwhelmed on where to start (?) What is my next step? How many hours a day do you recommend to work on this? Also, how long does it take to see your credit improve after repairing your credit on your own?

@Dave Cousins thanks. I intend to put in all effort I can but not sure how much time I can put in with my current time schedule. Is it wise to hire a company to repair your credit or is it a waste of money?
