Hello everyone Just finished updating my website. May I ask you for some feedback? Would love to kow your thoughts! It doesn't have a specific target. It's a general website to showcase what I do to the people who visit it. Thank you! https://giuseppecorcella.com/home

Hello everyone, I just got my PRS statement and noticed one entry:“Ident C9 Superliga 21-22 V3 5 Sec PRIVATE COPYIN.” Does anyone happen to know which show or production this refers to?

How do you label your DAW's MIDI data patterns?
So I been looking at videos and whenever someone shows their DAW it's usually the same thing, they label the titles of their tracks with the name of the library/instrument/patch name or combo/variation of that, but I never see anyone doing anything with the titles of their MIDI patterns. Calling it MIDI patterns here, as each DAW has their own label as to what the MIDI data is called in the MIDI arrangement window. (Cubase = MIDI Part, FL Studio = Pattern, etc). Is this a missed workflow opportunity or is the general consensus that it is a waste of time or can cause headaches down the road while working on a project? I was just curious what everyone here does. What do you usually do, and how detailed or granular do you get? I've been labeling them according to musical function like if it's a melody, bassline, drumline, texture, etc, and if there's variations I do bassline 1, bassline 2, or melody 1 sentence, melody 2 period for example. Attaching pictures of what I was doing compared to what I now do:

I leave the default names. It would be only a waste of time for me to rename all the regions
Mastered stems
Hi there, I'm curious about your approach when it comes to exporting and delivering mastered stems. I'm working in Cubase and noticed that when I export stems with the mastering chain applied (by enabling the option to include group and send effects, with all stems routed to a group track containing the mastering chain), the result seems unexpectedly louder once I re-import those stems back into the session. For instance, if the session plays back at around -8 LUFS short-term, the re-imported stems—when summed—reach around -3 or even -2 LUFS. Is there something I'm overlooking in this workflow? I’d be really interested to hear how you handle delivering mastered stems. Thanks!
