@Svein Andre Jørgensborg that's awesome!

@Rick Kelly Thanks for sharing your journey! It’s great to see how your background in wrestling and different martial arts styles has shaped your approach. Re-discovering your love for grappling through Krav Maga’s ground work and then diving into BJJ sounds like a natural progression. Congrats on reaching purple belt—that’s a huge achievement! It’s inspiring to see how your experiences and passion keep evolving
Guard skills vs Guard passing
Which guard skills make guard passing challenging —and why? For me, guard players that aim to get underneath (single x, full x, K guard etc) through constant angle changing and off balancing, I find most challenging.

I agree, I feel like these are the best guards to off balance. I normally struggle with k guard
Focus for the week (“B” game)
This week, handle your business on the mats with your “B” game. Leave your “A” game at home. Try new moves and practice things you aren’t good at already. You are going to get defeated by people who you usually dominate. That’s ok. It is in these valleys that we learn how to climb higher. New skills take time to acquire so don’t be afraid of failure and go practice something you aren’t great at.

That's a really good idea. I do this very often, I put myself in "bad" positions so I can challenge myself and learn new skills

I feel like all of them would be beneficial, but having a good base of Muay Thai would help
