Huge PB and gratitude!
Just wanted to share a quick note of gratitude with you all. Massive thanks to @Gustavo Vaz Tostes , @Chris Hinshaw and @Rhyss Murty I’m genuinely grateful to be part of this group and for everything I’ve learned over the past few months. I’ve gone from an 82 minute racer to sub 75 in just over three months, and that’s come down to the guidance, the structure, and actually applying what’s here. This is a seriously good platform. If you put the work in, go through the material properly and commit to it, the results will come. Appreciate you all.
Huge PB and gratitude!

That’s huge, dropping 7+ minutes in just a few months is no joke, that’s what happens when structure meets execution. Respect for actually applying what’s being taught instead of just consuming it, most people stay stuck because they never cross that line. This is a perfect example that the blueprint works if you work it. Now the real question is… how far can you push it from here? 👀🔥
HYROX Prep Without the Equipment
As I get ready for HYROX with my twin sis (9/3/26 DC), I’m working around not having access to rower, SkiErg, sandbags, or wall balls. I still want to train the same energy systems and movement patterns, so I’m subbing smart. Thinking things like treadmill intervals or assault bike for engine work, DB thrusters or med ball slams for wall balls, heavy lunges or carries for sandbags, and banded pulls or high-rep pull variations for SkiErg. For those who’ve trained HYROX without full equipment, what substitutions have worked best for you that actually carry over on race day?

@Rhyss Murty @Gustavo Vaz Tostes appreciate you both. Sounds like the key is not just intensity and movement, but combining them in circuits instead of isolating so I can better manage fatigue. Definitely helpful, thank you.
Intro
Hey everyone, my name is Germain. I’m locked in for the HYROX Washington DC 2026 with my twin sis, running mixed doubles for our first HYROX. My strength is overall strength and hybrid training. I’m comfortable with the lifts and can handle volume. The biggest thing I’m working on is pacing and running, especially finding a smooth rhythm as a team since she’s newer to running. Excited to learn, stay consistent, and keep leveling up each week with you all.
