What is Gemini CLI?
🚀 Google has released Gemini CLI, a free and open-source command‑line interface that brings the Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model directly into your terminal on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It’s perfect for coding, debugging, research, content creation, and even generating images or videos through Imagen or Veo. You can use it at no cost with a Gmail or Google account plus a Gemini Code Assist license, giving you up to 1,000 requests per day and 60 requests per minute. I even used it to build a Python-based timer—it worked great! To get started, simply run: npm install -g @google/gemini-cli

Google has announced that its new AI video-generation model, Veo 2, will cost 50 cents per second—that’s $30 per minute or a staggering $1,800 per hour! Who has that kind of money?? hahaha Read the full article here: https://techcrunch.com/2025/02/23/googles-new-ai-video-model-veo-2-will-cost-50-cents-per-second

Inconsistent JSON Output in Assistant
I use an assistant to provide learning content via File Search. In my prompt, I explicitly request the response in JSON format. In 95% of cases, this works, but not always reliably. Occasionally, I receive plain text output instead of the expected JSON format. However, it is important for me to always receive the response in JSON format so that I can further process it with a JSON parser. The next step in the flow would then be parsing the JSON response." Problem:The JSON output works most of the time (around 95%), but not consistently. In some cases, the assistant returns plain text instead, making it difficult to process the response with a JSON parser. I am looking for a solution to ensure a 100% reliable JSON response. Maybe someone can help me, I would really appreciate any tips. rgds Gerald
