Hello, I’m 3 weeks into Skool! 👋
I’m Gemma a mum of two grown boys, living in the UK. I escaped corporate life and chose SANITY over SALARY, I have a consultancy business that is centred around Microsoft apps - I’m an excel geek at heart! When I’m not working and building my Skool community I love to travel - I would love to create a secure income which means I can be a digital nomad. It’s fab to be here - I’m learning so much already!

Hi, I’m only a few weeks into my skool journey - I hear people say how fab this can be to build community spirit. How many people do you think you need in your community to be able to host one? (Beating in mind many won’t be able to attend). What day/time have you found works best! Thanks

Who wants to do a Soup Reset with me?
I’ll be starting an amazing soup reset this Sunday or Monday. I do it every few months, as a way to reset and flood my cells and mitochondria with nutrients. It’s created by the brilliant holistic nutritionist, Christa Orecchio. She is sadly no longer with us, but her legacy lives on. If you would like to participate, DM me or comment below and I’ll send it to you. It’s self-paced. You can start on whatever day feels right for you. Share your progress in the comments below or in a new post. Doing a simple, nutrient dense Soup Reset can be a good way to take a break from any foods you’re trying to avoid at the moment. I do add pumpkin, sunflower, and hemp seeds, and occasionally eggs to the reset to ensure I’m getting enough protein. For me, the foods I’m taking a break from are…sugar, grains, and dairy.

I did the cabbage soup diet years ago - wow it was a windy household! 💨 I’m on holiday for 2 weeks but would be really interested when I return in mid Feb!

Good morning. First, I want to say that the U'S is going to be hit with a major winter snow/ice storm. 100 million people are in the path of this storm. This morning in my state the headline reads "Potentially catastrophic ice storm" which usually means no electric/heat. So, everyone in the path of this storm, be prepared and safe. Now, on with the show 😂 If your body feels like it’s running Windows 95, this one’s for you. Most people say “adrenal fatigue” because they’re trying to name a sensation that’s very real: - “I wake up tired.” - “My brain won’t turn on until noon.” - “I used to push through. Now I crash.” - “My motivation evaporated, and I don’t know why.” Here’s the part no one tells you: It’s not your personality. It’s not your mindset. It’s not a failure. It’s your stress circuitry, the HPA axis, quietly downshifting after too much load for too long. The 10‑Second Physiology (just enough to get it) Your stress system has three main players: - Hypothalamus = the scanner - Pituitary = the messenger - Adrenals = the workers Otherwise, known as the HPA axis. Together they decide your energy, focus, blood sugar, and stress tolerance. When life is nonstop, kids, work, deadlines, pressure, perfectionism, under‑eating, over‑caffeinating, this system eventually says: “We’re not sprinting anymore.” That’s the feeling people call adrenal fatigue.
