I just posted this information on my LinkedIn page. Please Like, Repost, Comment to support AIFD’s visibility and attract more studios, producers and interested eyeballs. Link’s below. “Three job posts I pulled off LinkedIn this week, back to back: → Senior Generative AI Designer — CoCreativ, NYC, $130K–170K, hybrid → AI Video Creator & Editor — Jobgether, remote, 100+ applicants → AI Movie Director — a funded stealth startup, remote, $90K–140K, "actively reviewing" That's not a coincidence. Here's what it actually tells you: 1. "AI Movie Director" is now a real job title with a real salary band. Eighteen months ago that phrase was a joke on Twitter. Now it's a line item in a startup's org chart. 2. The money is real money. $90K-170K isn't "here's some free credits, tag us." Companies are budgeting AI filmmaking as a core function, not a side experiment. 3. Over 100 applicants on two of these three. The talent is showing up. Employers just have no way to actually tell who's good — which is exactly the problem nobody's solving yet. 4. This isn't one weird company. It's an agency, a hiring marketplace, and a funded startup — three completely different business types, all hiring for the same skillset at the same time. 5. These are structured roles, not one-off freelance gigs. Titles, salary bands, hybrid/remote policy — that means career paths are forming in real time, not just gigs. The demand is here. The candidates are here. What's missing is a way for the two to actually find and trust each other.
