Quick question for anyone running a service business here 👇
When a new lead comes in — from your website, a Facebook ad, Google, wherever — How fast does someone actually call them back? Same minute? Same hour? End of day? I bet, it's not same minute or hour as well🤔 Here's the thing most people don't realize: Leads contacted within the first 5 minutes convert dramatically better than leads contacted even 30 minutes later. After that, the odds drop fast — and by the next day, most of them have already called a competitor or just moved on. So if your ads and website are doing their job (bringing in leads), but sales still feel inconsistent... The leak might not be your marketing. It might be what happens in the first 5 minutes after someone raises their hand. Curious how everyone here handles it right now — instant call? Text? Or does it sit in an inbox/voicemail until someone gets to it? 👇 Regards, Kartik cheers!!

The interesting part is the why behind the 5-minute window. When someone submits a form, they are still in decision mode. A fast reply catches them while the intent is hot. A slow reply means they have already self-served, second-guessed, or booked with whoever called first.

Hi everyone, my question is when i charge the client the ai automation fee what should i charge him/her for the month service and for example the project is like worth £5000 can any one help me with the calculation and how I can tell the client that it’s worth paying

One thing nobody has said yet: the monthly retainer is not for the automation itself. It is for the option to have the person who built it make changes without a new project fee every time something shifts. That framing makes it easier for clients to say yes.

One angle nobody has mentioned yet: subscribe to one well-curated newsletter and let it do the filtering for you. The curators you trust become your signal gatekeepers. Everything else is noise until it shows up from two independent sources.
Final update on my HyperFrames experiment.
A few days ago I shared the first version of this website promo video and got some really helpful feedback from people here. I went back, improved the pacing, transitions, text timing, and cleaned up a few sections instead of starting over. This version feels much closer to what I had in mind. A couple of clients have already seen it and asked if I could create similar promo videos for their websites, which was a nice surprise. Website: https://shivwork.lovable.app/ I'm still treating this as a learning project, so I'd love another round of honest feedback. If you watched both versions, what improved the most? And if you only saw this one, what's the first thing you'd change for the next version?

Pacing and transitions are the hardest things to get right, so good call focusing there. The biggest opportunity for the next version: make sure the viewer knows how to actually hire you at the end. Strong work getting to the point where clients are asking for more unprompted.

Yesterday I shared my first end-to-end AI automation for the luxury real estate platform. Today I focused on making the system even smarter by building two new n8n workflows. 🏡 1. AI Property Recommendation Engine When a new inquiry comes in, the workflow now: ✅ Identifies whether the lead is a buyer ✅ Normalizes buyer preferences ✅ Searches matching properties from Airtable ✅ Uses AI to rank and evaluate the best matches ✅ Returns personalized property recommendations ✅ Saves the recommendation history for future follow-ups Instead of sending random listings, the AI recommends properties based on what the buyer is actually looking for. 📧 2. AI Recommendation Email Automation Once recommendations are generated, another workflow automatically: ✅ Retrieves the selected properties ✅ Enriches the property data ✅ Generates a personalized email using AI ✅ Sends the recommendation email through Gmail ✅ Logs every success or failure ✅ Notifies the team in Slack for monitoring The entire recommendation process is now fully automated—from buyer inquiry to personalized email. 💡 What I learned today Breaking one large automation into multiple specialized workflows makes everything much easier to maintain, debug, and scale. Instead of creating one massive workflow, I'm building a system where each workflow has a single responsibility. This approach is already making development much cleaner. Still running everything locally with Docker + ngrok, but the next milestone is deploying everything to a VPS so it can run 24/7. Every day this project gets a little closer to becoming a production-ready AI-powered real estate platform. I'd love to hear how you structure larger n8n projects. Definitely multiple smaller workflows. One big workflow always turns into a debugging nightmare once something fails and you have to trace through 40 nodes to find it. Smaller workflows also mean you can reuse individual pieces across other automations without copy-pasting a tangled mess. The version control question gets cleaner too: when each workflow has one job, rolling back one piece does not take down the whole system.
