Are you actually aligned with your coaching business?
Most coaches think their biggest problem is lead generation, marketing, or sales. But often the real issue is something deeper… Your coaching business might not actually be aligned with you. Think about it for a second. Your personality. Your strengths. Your weaknesses. How you naturally work. And even the season of life you're in right now. In an ideal world, your coaching model supports those things. When that happens, growing your business becomes much simpler because you're essentially getting paid to be yourself and operate in your strengths every day. But when your business requires you to show up in ways that go against how you're wired… Everything becomes harder than it should be. You start feeling frustrated. You’re unfulfilled. You’re burnt out by work that used to excite you. And the bigger the gap between what you want and what your business demands from you, the worse that feeling gets. The goal is simple… Create a model for your coaching business where those two things overlap. When that happens, something powerful occurs. You find your rhythm again. You're operating in your sweet spot. You’re doing your best coaching. And ironically, that's when your business becomes the most attractive to clients. So here are two quick questions for you: 1. If you knew you'd be running this business for the next 20 years, would you build it the same way you're running it now? 2. If you knew your business would be wildly successful no matter what model you chose, would you keep everything the same? If the honest answer to either of those is “no”, then something probably needs to change.

Those are great questions that can only be answered once one has launched. Refinement in the process can only come in the doing.
What a book does for your business that 10,000 Instagram followers can't
Here's a question worth sitting with... You've been showing up on social for months (maybe years). You're creating content, posting consistently, doing all the things. But are you the go-to expert in your field? Are leads finding YOU? If the honest answer is 'not quite'... my friend Shaa Wasmund MBE wants a word. Shaa has written 5 x #1 bestselling books, built and exited multiple 7-figure businesses, and spent the last three years helping 500+ coaches, consultants and business owners do something social media simply can't do for you... Make you undeniably, credibly, lastingly known. Here's what a book actually does for your business: 🔥 Makes you the go-to expert 🔥 Gets you on stages, podcasts and in the press 🔥 Generates leads while you sleep 🔥 Turns readers into clients 🔥 Builds a legacy and is something that outlasts any algorithm 🔥 Raises your prices, because published experts command more 🔥 Opens corporate doors; nothing signals credibility like a book 🔥 Fuels your content 🔥 Gives you focus 🔥 Makes you proud… genuinely, deeply proud Starting Monday 16th March, Shaa is running BOOKFEST: a FREE 10-day challenge + live workshop to help you get your first (or next) book out of your head and into the world. Daily training. Author interviews. Publisher chats. Her proven 90-day process. Having published 3 books myself I would highly recommend it :-) Go get 'booked' in lol Here's the link

I took her workshop in November. It was absolutely what I needed. I didn't have the funds but I am writing and expect to have it out in the Fall. It's a memoir & leadership blueprint.
A Reminder About Self-Worth
I’ve been reflecting on how essential self-worth is in our relationships. As the year comes to an end and there are more demands put on us, it's even more crucial to stay fully connected to our own value. But this isn't a one-time thing... Without self-worth, it’s easy to get swept up in the day-to-day dynamics that can overwhelm us and pull our lives off course. Building self-worth is an ongoing practice. The way we love ourselves sets the standard for how we will be loved by others. What we accept from others often mirrors how deeply we honor and care for ourselves. The truth is, the “work” of knowing and strengthening our self-worth never really ends. But staying attuned to it is what protects us, grounds us, and helps us choose relationships that truly support our well-being. If you ever want to talk through this or explore it together, I’m here.

@Eduard Rijborz Reminds me of a line in an old gospel song-"like a ship without a sail".
A Second Look At First Principles
I have been navigating choppy waters that felt more like a pileup on the American football field over an extended, relentless period. So much so, that I admitted to my coach that I'm really tired and I have run out of fight. And what did I find at the bottom of the barrel as I sat just breathing and observing? Rays of sunshine peaking through the grey clouds warming my nearly frostbitten face, fingers & toes. People. One offering a listening ear of comfort, encouragement & laughter like that warm blanket I was missing. Another offering answers to questions & ponderings I hadn't sufficiently formulated that I needed. And another just excited about life and the many possibilities like a Tigger to an Eyeore. A smile, and a look in the eyes to say, I see you, you matter, there's still something of value here, all is not lost and this is not the finalé. And with a deep inhale and exhale I was resuscitated and back on my feet.

I needed this. Thanks @Ngozi Obanye . I'm working on a solution with heavy admin and small staffs. Trying to find the right automation/people balance. Are we in common groups?
