On a mission
I need to create a workflow for my workplace. It seems quite complicated and a little overwhelming when looking at the big picture. I want to break it down into bit size pieces, so I’m giving a call out to anyone here willing to help me step by step. I’m creating systems for estimating for a commercial interiors company. We do framing to plaster to fitting off. I feel my biggest issue is putting all the information and arranging it all so it’s easy to gather. Please help

@Jem Arcibal I’m building it from scratch. The previous estimator is leaving in 2 weeks and he has been doing it very old school with a ruler on paper, with prices in his head. It definitely feels overwhelming rn. Haha 🤣
Anyone needing AI assistance
Was wondering for any of you all that work in construction or have a construction company requiring any AI assistance or automations needed? I have done a whole range of automations for various industries. I'm willing to provide an automation for your construction company whether its proposal generation or any others you see that is taking time out of your day for FREE (no catch). I am just exploring what is possible in the construction space, so the best way to do so is connect with people in the space. Message or shoot me a DM, happy to hop on call to discuss your needs.

Would love to know how you can help…
Every project has taught me something that no textbook ever could.
Every project has taught me something that no textbook ever could. When I started my journey in Civil Engineering, I thought Quantity Surveying was only about measurements and cost estimates. Over time, I realized it's much more than that. It's about understanding drawings, identifying risks before construction begins, controlling project costs, and helping clients make informed decisions. Every project has been a new learning experience. Every drawing has improved my attention to detail. Every estimate has made me a better Quantity Surveyor. Today, I'm continuously improving my skills in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, and digital tools like PlanSwift because I believe learning never stops in the construction industry. My goal is simple: To share practical knowledge, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the construction community by creating valuable content. If my journey or experience can help even one engineer become better at what they do, I'll consider that a success. Let's learn, grow, and build better together. 👉 Follow my page for practical insights on Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, Construction Management, and PlanSwift. 💬 What is one lesson your career has taught you that no classroom ever could? #PersonalBranding #QuantitySurveyor #CivilEngineering #CostEstimation #PlanSwift #Construction #Engineering #CareerGrowth #LearningJourney

It’s so nice to be in the group surrounded by professionals that have been there and done that. A newbie here starting out in a large commercial subcontracting business working on estimating, keeping with schedules and helping to create automations for smooth daily operations. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated 😊👍🏼
