Last night I was playing cards at the table
Cards scattered everywhere. A little competitive energy in the room. The kind of moment where you lean forward and start calculating your next move. If you play blackjack, you know the moment. You look at your cards. You look at the dealerās card. And sometimes the smartest move is simple. You double down. You push a little more forward because the odds are good. That got me thinking about something. What if we doubled down on kindness the same way? Not the big dramatic kind. The everyday kind. A warm message. A thoughtful comment. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt. Letting someone go first. Encouraging someone who is trying something new. Kindness does something interesting. It affects three people at once. The person who receives it. The person who gives it. And everyone who witnesses it. It spreads quietly through a room or a community. I have seen it happen so many times inside our little entrepreneur circles. Someone shares a win. Someone shares a struggle. And someone else simply shows up with encouragement. That one small moment changes the energy for everyone. So today I am thinking about cards again. Sometimes the best move is not to hold back. Sometimes the best move is to double down. Double down on encouragement. Double down on patience. Double down on noticing the good in people. You never know who needed that kindness today. And just like a good hand of cards, sometimes the energy you put into the game comes right back to you. So I am curious. How might you double down on kindness today? Leave one small idea in the comments. Someone else here might pick it up and play that card too. ā£ļø
