Slow start Sunday
Protein coffee and puzzles for me. What about you?

Another stormy day. I'm hunkering down doing taxes.
Happy Saturday everyone ā˜€ļø
What is everyone up to this weekend? My college age daughter is home for the weekend and I am so happy. She is still sleeping, so the house is quiet and I am enjoying the best coffee ever. I think I just hit the jackpot with my protein coffee. My coffee machine has a frother and I finally decided to try it with almond milk and protein powder. I frothed it first and poured it on top of my coffee. Wow. Game changer. It tastes like a little cafĆ© drink but it also feels like I am doing something good for my body at the same time. Simple joys. Coffee. Quiet house. Daughter home for the weekend. What are you all up to this weekend? ā˜•

Big storm here. We are staying home and hunkering down.
Suck it up, buttercup
Sometimes you just have to say… This morning I got out of the shower, checked my calendar, and realized I had 15 minutes before a call and half my day was still blank. So what did I do? Grabbed the marker. Looked at my computer for my 12 week year tactics. Filled in the whiteboard. Ran to the call. And yes… I filmed it in my robe. A few years ago I would have never posted something like that. I thought everything had to look polished. But real building looks more like this. Wet hair. Whiteboard. Fifteen minutes. Figure it out and go. So now I’m curious… Would you ever post something in your robe? šŸ˜„ No judgment zone here.

You make it sound so simple for all entrepreneurs who have 15 minute to work on those important tasks that need to get done. 🌺
Wow. My generative AI friend (ChatGPT Plus)
really knows me well. All I did was drop in a photo of my whiteboard. One picture. No prompts. No explanation. And look what came back. Gold. It immediately noticed something I did not even realize I had done. I separated maintenance work from growth work. Maintenance: • Amazon ads • Posts inside Skool • Designer email • Faye work The things that keep the machine running. Growth: • GYSD AI content • Discovery posts • Ads learning • Pinterest creation The things that actually grow the business. Then it pointed out something else that made me stop and think. My schedule started with Amazon ads. But Amazon ads optimize traffic that already exists. Discovery posts and Pinterest create new attention. So the real question became: What activity today will actually bring a new person into my world? Not organize. Not maintain. Not learn. But actually bring someone new in. That one question alone might save me hours every week. It also called out something I almost laughed at. My banana break and off screen blocks. Apparently that is not silly. That is sustainable leadership. And honestly, that felt pretty good to read. One picture. One whiteboard. One honest look at the day. Sometimes the clearest thinking comes from simply stepping back and letting something reflect your thinking back to you. More soon about the big aha yesterday that led to this little whiteboard experiment. It is a good day to have a good day. ā˜€ļø

Can't wait for you to share this in our interview soon.
Last night I was playing cards at the table
Cards scattered everywhere. A little competitive energy in the room. The kind of moment where you lean forward and start calculating your next move. If you play blackjack, you know the moment. You look at your cards. You look at the dealer’s card. And sometimes the smartest move is simple. You double down. You push a little more forward because the odds are good. That got me thinking about something. What if we doubled down on kindness the same way? Not the big dramatic kind. The everyday kind. A warm message. A thoughtful comment. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt. Letting someone go first. Encouraging someone who is trying something new. Kindness does something interesting. It affects three people at once. The person who receives it. The person who gives it. And everyone who witnesses it. It spreads quietly through a room or a community. I have seen it happen so many times inside our little entrepreneur circles. Someone shares a win. Someone shares a struggle. And someone else simply shows up with encouragement. That one small moment changes the energy for everyone. So today I am thinking about cards again. Sometimes the best move is not to hold back. Sometimes the best move is to double down. Double down on encouragement. Double down on patience. Double down on noticing the good in people. You never know who needed that kindness today. And just like a good hand of cards, sometimes the energy you put into the game comes right back to you. So I am curious. How might you double down on kindness today? Leave one small idea in the comments. Someone else here might pick it up and play that card too. ā™£ļø
