How to Save Thousands when Traveling
I'm writing this from the island of Sardinia, Italy, ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น looking out at a view that most people would assume costs a fortune...but...to be honest, I'm in my 40s, and this is my first time ever traveling to Europe. And no, my Skool community isn't making me enough money yet to casually fund a $10,000 vacation. One day, hopefully. But today, that's not the story. The reality is that this trip easily could have cost over ๐Ÿ’ฐ$10,000 out of pocket. My business-class flight from Chicago to Rome was selling for around $7,000 round trip. I spent five nights in Rome at a hotel that would have cost well over $2,500, and I only paid about $140 in taxes and fees. Tonight, I'm staying at a boutique hotel in Sardinia that costs more than $1,500 per night, and I didn't pay cash for the room. (checkout the view from the room) No, I'm not an influencer getting free stays. What I've learned is how to leverage travel rewards, credit card points, and airline and hotel transfer partners to dramatically reduce the cost of travel. The key isn't spending more money. It's spending the money you're already spending in a smarter way. Travel hacking has completely changed what's possible for me. Experiences that once felt out of reach suddenly became attainable. If you've ever looked at a luxury hotel, a business-class seat, or an international vacation and thought, "There's no way I could afford that," you might be surprised by what's possible when you understand how the points game works. That's exactly why I recently started a free Skool community called ๐Ÿ‘‰ Travel Hacks Skool. If travel is on your bucket list and you'd like to learn how to maximize points, rewards, and travel benefits, you're welcome to join us. What's one destination that's on your travel bucket list right now?

Where Will You Travel This Year?
I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow. I have never traveled to Europe before and I will be going on a solo trip. I have learned in life you can't wait around for other people to want to do what you want to do, so this is why I am going on this adventure. Traveling is a passion of mine ... and this trip I am taking would have cost me over $10k but i'm only paying a small percentage out of pocket because I've picked up some travel hacking tips over the years. I just created a brand new free community TRAVEL HACKS SKOOL โœˆ๏ธ This will be a great place to share tips and upcoming trips! Let's have some fun! Comment where you're planning to travel to this year!

Why most The Skool Classifieds posts get ignored (and what to do instead)
A few members in my community have been asking me why their The Skool Classifieds posts aren't getting clicks. I've been answering them individually in DMs, but I figured the answer was worth sharing more widely. Here's what I've been telling them. Step one: write your title like a YouTube title, specific, outcome-led, and clear enough to make sense without reading the body. Step two: open your first paragraph by naming the exact problem your ideal member is sitting with right now. Not your solution. Their problem. Step three: deliver one complete insight in plain language, something they can actually use, whether they click your link or not. Step four: close with a single CTA sentence that positions your community as the natural next step for someone who found the first three steps useful. The join link goes after the CTA, on its own line. No pitch. No feature list. No "we help people do X." Most of The Skool Classifieds posts read like brochures. They open with the community name, list what's inside, and close with a link. Technically correct. Nobody clicks. The problem isn't the CTA - it's that the reader hasn't been given a reason to care yet. Try this: stop writing so much about your community. Start writing the kind of post your ideal member would have found useful, even if the link wasn't there. If you want to go deeper on turning your Skool community into consistent revenue, that's exactly what we focus on inside the Skool Monetisation Lab. https://www.skool.com/skool-growth-lab-2540/about Des Dreckett - Skool Monetisation Lab

New Skool Group
Iโ€™ve been deep in itโ€”figuring things out, testing, adjusting, and learning as I go. And Iโ€™ll be honestโ€ฆ it took longer than I expected to get everything set up. Butโ€ฆ Iโ€™m excited to sayโ€”itโ€™s officially open I created The Entrepreneurs Collab Circle for entrepreneurs who donโ€™t just want more informationโ€ฆ they want momentum. This is a space for - Consistent action (not just ideas) - Real collaboration (not just posting and disappearing) - Meaningful connections with other entrepreneurs building from home. I'm just getting started, which means thereโ€™s a real opportunity to shape the energy, the conversations, and the collaborations inside. Thanks to @Mona Weathers and @Krista Brea for all their help. I'm still learning... But here we go... https://www.skool.com/entrepreneurs-collab-circle-2638
