For those who have used Opus 4.6 how do you think the prose compare to Sonnet 4.5? I had both write the exact same short story for me and they were different in equally good and bad ways. For me I think that, Opus 4.6 had very good and tight prose, but it was almost “telling” instead of “showing”. Lots of internal thoughts and not a lot of dialogue. I had a character show up in a small town, get a job, and get an apartment and it literally only had two lines of dialogue. With Sonnet 4.5 there’s definitely more emotion and better storytelling, but it tends to meander and add a lot of wordiness that isn’t really necessary. And a lot of reputation of internal thoughts of characters. I’ve decided that I want Sonnet and Opus to just have a baby and it’ll be the perfect writer. 😆

Howdy folks! I know a lot of people use Ideogram for cover design but I noticed that a lot of those covers have the same style. While the style is nice I wanted something different and so I asked Chat to give me an illustrated cover and it blew my socks off. And it even kept the style consistent for the book 2 cover. If you haven’t tried it out I highly suggest it. *Ignore the duplicate title. I’m doing the text myself in Canva and just haven’t updated it*

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I was working in Claude and trying to take 3 of the codexs and outlines and turn them into a cohesive series. BUT before it finished the outline for book 3 it ran into the max limit for the chat window. Not like the you have to wait a few hours to keep using it limit. But the you must start a new chat and can't keep using this one limit. If I get Claude Max will I get to have longer convos in one single chat without being booted and having to start another one? Thanks!

Hello everyone. I'm getting my author life together and the next step is building a newsletter. I was hoping to get some people's opinions on the best newsletter provider out there at the moment. I know there are a lot like Mailerlite, Mailchimp, etc and they all have their pros and cons. So what are you guys using and why do you like it?

Random question for the group... What are you actually aiming for with writing + AI? Is it just getting more books finished? Playing around with different genres? Making money? Entertaining readers? Or something else entirely? I’m realizing we probably all have very different reasons for being here, and now I’m curious 👀 For me, honestly? I want to hit a bestseller list and get one of those fancy letters someday (ideally for a few different pen names LOL). What about you?
