@Marilee Coots I watched the Q&A and saw your question about quotes. I would like to give you my thoughts on this. When I did my MBA in Austria we were told that we could quote up to 300 words off a book in quotation marks without the written consent of the author but we would have to mark it as quote and give the source. When you refer to someone else's ideas or quotes and elaborate by giving your own ideas and thoughts, then you are adding to it. You can give your own observations, your own examples. This is your own contribution, we were told at the university. Please check with your lawyer (or Chat GPT - lol) for the legal outline and guidelines. There is a lot to know about quoting other authors, there are even whole books and best practices about it. Check those out, please.

@Marilee Coots Sure!
Storing Testimonials vs Copy
I think I found a way for collecting and storing testimonials: Excel. A while ago I started a trello baord but while finding key words there is easy via the search function I have to do a lot of clicking to get inspiration. I like to react to what I read with an idea for an email or a blog or whatever. Then I realized I started an Excel spreadsheet a while ago. It has some 45 entries already but I have a ton more that I need to enter. It's much easier for me to handle as I by glancing over them, scrolling through the file I get inspiration and that makes the collection more valuable. With regard to pieces of copy I think I will open a Word doc / Google doc. Any experiences with it?

@Steven Wohlman Good point. But I'm not that worried about it. I used to be an accountant and dealt a lot with spreadsheets. I should be fine but it's a good point. You can always save as pdf to make sure you have some kind of back-up.

Where do we post homework for the Author of Influence Bootcamp?
I just worked on the document, got it all done with tons of testimonials. But where do I post it? I posted it in the questions area.
