@Michelle Carr In my experience of 14+ years as a systemic coach - the pain is at the surface, a symptom. The patterns are what drive the pain to manifest. Work on the patterns - the pain doesn't exist anymore.

@Michelle Carr I'm not familiar with the particularities of the construction business, although I'm a former real estate business owner. As a coach, I can say that many issues can be dissolved when one focuses on clarity from the start of the relationship - commercial or personal. The contracting phase is fundamental to the future and outcome of the relationship. As you mentioned in the article: 'The reality is that the outcome was frequently determined much earlier.'
