I Just Rescued This Dog!
Today I rescued this dog from the pound. He has some behaviour issues that meant he was two hours from being put to sleep. Iโ€™ll be training him and sharing updates here and then eventually rehoming him. He needs a new name though. Hit me with your suggestions.

Those ears make me think Rabbit, or Radar or something like that. Thank you for saving this dogs life. :)

Using AI To Be a Better Dog Trainer
I have a confession. Sometimes, I am a 'lumper'. I make it harder too fast or worse stay on the same criteria/level too long. One idea I had was to have ChatGPT make detailed training plans with very finely split increases in difficulty. My first experiment with this gave me a decent starting place although I would definitely make quite a few adjustments. I'll attach what it gave me below for teaching my dog to stay on a raised bed for a 45 minute dog class. I've also used it for video review before which is OK but you have to ensure the video file is small enough for it to process. Has anyone else experimented with using AI to help them with their dog training? What have you tried?

Also, if you are paying for chatgpt (20$/m plan), I just made a really quick first draft of an ai that generates training plans for your community members. Give it a try:) https://chatgpt.com/g/g-68cf0061679081919563e2c0cd3c4414-ai-dog-trainer
Current Status: Death
Hey Gang, I'm gonna be a bit MIA. I seem to have caught the lurgy that's going around and I'm desperately hoping it's going to be short-lived. Hoping to be back to normal shortly.

Day 166: 66 + 100 ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
Not bad. The 66 Day Challenge, plus another 100 days. Today was a great day training IGP with our small group in the sunny weather. We didn't do a huge amount of obedience but I began fading the lure entirely in Onyx's heelwork. For Lupe we worked some more on the one way engagement and did some heelwork too. Onyx did perfectly well today but Alex said she seemed a bit flat. She has a cut on her foot (not on the pad, in between) that's been bothering her a bit, not so much she wouldn't want to do stuff but I wonder if this is why. Leucillin seems to be doing a wonderful job on it though. I am treating it 3 times per day as per the instructions and it is healing nicely. Then we managed to do some protection which is always just growing and growing. I need to spend some more time on Lupe's outs, time which I have now since I don't have to do anymore muzzle training ๐Ÿ˜‰ On that subject @Diane Gollowitzer sent me some photos from our shoot for her new Muzzle Project book.

@Nick Benger I agree. I told them not to start with the muzzle until I showed up but they of course tried it by themselves... and now here we are
