💡 Idea of the Day: Pre-Order Cookie Business
I came across a university student who built a full-time income selling cookies, but here's the interesting part: Her business is only open one day a week. She takes pre-orders, collects payment upfront, closes orders on a specific day, and then bakes exactly what's been ordered. Just a simple system: - Order Day - Baking Day - Pickup/Delivery Day Then she repeats it the following week. And honestly, this idea goes beyond cookies. The same model can work for cakes, meal prep, pastries, chin chin, puff puff, desserts, and so many other food businesses. Instead of making products and hoping customers show up, customers pay first and you make exactly what's needed. It reduces waste, protects your time, and makes it easier to manage your business alongside everything else you have going on. Here's the post that inspired this: Post link If you were running a pre-order food business, what would you sell? 😀

💡Idea of the Day: Paid Online Surveys
I came across this on Instagram and I wanted to share it with a bit of honesty because I think a lot of people see survey apps online without understanding what they really are Paid online surveys are platforms where companies pay you for your opinions on products, services, and experiences. You sign up, complete surveys in your spare time, and earn money per survey completed. Apps like AttaPoll and QMee are two popular examples. They’re free to use and easy to start with. Now let’s be realistic 😭 This is not the kind of thing that replaces a full-time income overnight. Some surveys pay very little, others pay more, and consistency matters. But where I think this becomes useful is as a low-effort way to stack extra money towards something bigger: - business startup costs - inventory - ads - savings - bills - emergency funds The person in the video made over $200 from a particular site, while someone else she mentioned reportedly makes a few hundred monthly mostly from referrals. So no, it’s not glamorous 😄 But it is real money from time that might otherwise be spent scrolling. Here’s the post that inspired this one 👇🏽 Video link Have you ever tried surveys before? What was the experience like? 👀

💡How to use your competitors' followers to grow your own account 🤩
Let me share one of the simplest organic growth strategies that still works really well 😄 Your competitors have already gathered the exact kind of audience you’re trying to reach. The people following and engaging with their content are already interested in that niche, which means they could also be interested in you. The strategy is: - Go to an account in your niche with an engaged audience. Don’t just look at the follower count, look at the comments. Pay attention to the people actively engaging. - Then go and engage with them intentionally. - Like a few posts. Leave thoughtful comments that actually add to the conversation. Follow them if their content aligns with your niche. The goal isn’t to spam people. It’s to naturally make yourself visible in spaces where your ideal audience already exists. When people notice your engagement, many of them will click on your profile out of curiosity. If your page is clear and relevant, some of them will follow you. Do this consistently for 15–20 minutes a day and over time you’ll start attracting followers who are actually interested in what you do. Your task for today is to find one account in your niche and spend 15 minutes intentionally engaging with their audience. Come back and tell us which account you chose 😃
