Day1 - Newsletter I finished and fun
Hello together, I have finished my Day1 task. The first time I setup with Claude Code a (more or less) complete Workflow. Super interesting to see how Claude Code works, and a lot of things I learned beside like "how do I connect gmail with my workflow (was a nightmare)", "how do I define a design for the newsletter",... and so on. Perplexity is a really super tool for searching, kie.ai/nano banana doesn't convinced me so far because the diagrams or graphs can not express what is the real key message of chapter (or I was not able to tell clear enough what I need 😀). Maybe somebody has a best practice or tool "how to create the right graph" and can share with me. Thank you very much. Because I'm not an IT guy I learnt beside "what is git and how can I use it?" and how do I trigger workflows. But what really enjoyed me was to create stepwise a flexible workflow with adjustments of newsletter customer, language en/de, research topic and so on. Here is my second try/run of my newsletter workflow with tables and no graphs/diagrams anymore (I have still to clarify with Claude Code how to do this better🙄) - but I can use the research results for my other business...

Hi together, I am Frank and writing from China where I work at the moment. I’m working in automotive industry and here also the AI train starts to run faster and faster. Out of this I want to skill up myself to keep pace with all the AI Agentic development. To do this not only for fun I started already to build up a finance market system. For this I would love to see some best practices, share experiences and gain new ideas.

Hello, I am new here and curios what we can share with each other. AI and Claude Code are amazing. Thanks to Nate for this Community.
7 Day Challenge: Day 1 = Day Done sOn!
Hey everyone, hope you're doing well! So this is my Newsletter Project done! Was cool, the first thing I've properly built with AI. You'll see I based the newsletter on songwriting (a hobby of mine), so this is actually my second run of the project. On the first run I followed along with the example topic Nate presented, Agentic AI. One thing I've learned - AI is a great guide. Self-healing, finding any problems, finding solutions, and doing what it can by itself but roping me in where nescessary. For example, I wound up having to connect gmail to Claude to get it to send me the newsletter. And then also do a whole thing setting up Google Cloud console. One thing I'd improve - When ready, use the Kie and Perplexity APIs. As you can see in the screenshot, I didn't end up using Nano Banana via the Kie API. Nether did i use the Perplexity API. They would've cost me 5$ a pop, and right now I'm trying to learn what I can with as little cost as possible. So I used Claude for everything. But this was a great proof of concept, just for me personally to actually see what AI can do. All in all. Great experience, my thanks to Nate. Dope dude!

Smart idea your approach not to spend money for perplexity or kie.ai. Perplexity is a great research tool, if you need deep-research a good tool to find the right content or answers.

@Anna Gabriela fully agree with your statement regarding perplexity and kie
Day 1 Build
Hey everyone! This is my Day 1 Build. Today I built: A Newsletter (3 screenshots) and an AI-powered website using an n8n workflow running locally through Docker (2 screenshots) One of the biggest things I learned today is that Claude can do a lot more than I initially thought. The key is being very specific with your prompts, workflow requirements, and desired outcome. The clearer your instructions, the better the results. I know I could have made the designs look even better, but I was a bit hesitant to keep iterating because I didn't want to overspend on credits. For now, I focused on getting the workflow working first, then I'll improve the design as I continue learning. I'm excited to keep learning, improving my workflows, and exploring what's possible with AI automation. Looking forward to learning more from Nate and everyone in the community. Really appreciate all the guidance and support! Thanks for checking out my Day 1 build!

Impressive, thanks for sharing with us. To focus first on workflow and on design later is a good way to achieve the right efficiency.
