Week 4 is now live. A is for Automate
Last week we subtracted. We looked at what to stop doing and dared to let some things go. This week we add. But only what earns its place. In this session, I share something that stopped me in my tracks when I first heard it. A simple piece of maths about a five-minute daily task that most of us have never sat down and calculated. I also share two tools I use every single day and would not want to work without. And I have a question for you to ask yourself that will immediately tell you what in your business is ready to automate. https://www.skool.com/results-that-matter-6313/classroom/6e6f08fb?md=914edb3c5b934616b49f0fac67e9b7ea Your action this week is simple. Pick one task you do every week. Write every step down. That piece of paper is your first system.

Such an important part of our workflow. We do so much that is repetitive. How can we use our tools to do the work for us? And for the things tat the tool can't do, how can it help us organize tasks so they are quickler and easier to do?
What do you need to stop doing?
You cannot add, multiply or divide your way out of work that should not be done at all. Jim Collins said the most important list you will ever write is not your to-do list. It is your stop-doing list. Week 3 is live. The first step in REACH is subtraction. Watch the video in the classroom and find the one thing you are going to stop doing this week. Here is an a challenge for me. I am the treasurer for our homeowners association. May is when we collect our annual dues, and they are due no later than June 1. I do one mailmerge and send one email to the 128 homeowners, and I am done in a few minutes! As we approached June 1 and just after June 1, I did another mailmerge to those who had not paid. Of course, sending to those few encompassed as much time as sending to the entire 128! When the number was reduced to 4, I called each of the 4. As you can imagine, the length of the phone calls, together with the process of leaving messages (sometimes more than 1), FAR exceeded the original job of an email to 128 people. I will stop making reminder calls in the future and operate strickly from emails (which will now include a warning of the beginning of late fees being assessed).
What Result Are You Actually Working Toward?
You cannot Grow your Numbers until you Know your Numbers. Week 2 is live. Watch the video and slides in the classroom to find out what yours are telling you. Watch the video here https://www.skool.com/results-that-matter-6313/classroom/6e6f08fb?md=b2265be381b343af951bfe9920bdfbe5

"You cannot Grow your Numbers until you Know your Numbers." Wow! Powerful! Mark, quick question as I am new to this platform. I received a link in my email directing me here. So, that makes it super easy. As long as I am going through email, something I do every day, I will always be alerted to something new. But then, what's the quickest way for me to get to the actual video? It may be something obvious I am missing. Thanks again for starting this community. There is so much we can all learn.

The REACH Formula: The Foundation of Results That Matter
Welcome to Results That Matter. This community has been created to help business owners improve three things that really matter: - Productivity: getting more of the right things done - Profitability: improving the financial results of the business - Peace of mind: reducing stress, confusion, and overwhelm The foundation of the community is my REACH Formula. What REACH Stands For - R: Results: Get clear on the outcome that actually matters. - E: Eliminate: Remove what wastes time, money, energy, or attention. - A: Automate: Use systems, templates, procedures, and AI to make work easier and more consistent. - C: Concentrate: Focus your best time and energy on the work that creates the most value. - H: Help / Delegate: Ask for help and hand off work to people, tools, or systems better suited to do it. The Vision for This Community Over time, Results That Matter will become a practical learning and discussion space where we share ideas, tools, examples, and simple actions that help business owners get better results. This will include topics such as productivity, profitability, AI, systems, better use of numbers, decision-making, delegation, focus, and business improvement. This is the founding phase, so the community will develop as we learn what members find most useful. The goal is not perfection. The goal is progress, practical ideas, better conversations, and results that matter. First Question To get started, please introduce yourself and answer this question: What is one result that would genuinely matter to you or your business over the next 90 days? Take what’s useful. Ignore the rest.
