Need some clarity please.
I’ve just started my journey with CM, and I’ve been loving the learning. I have experience in building automations and agentic flows in n8n, but struggling a bit with wrapping my head around ICM. Can you still give an agent access to tooling i.e. Google docs etc? And can you run automations through it like you do with n8n? Or does ICM fit on top of all that and n8n etc can be used to execute automations still? I.e. a lead comes in and n8n triggers an automation to capture it in my CRM and that triggers the agent that uses ICM to read query and compile a draft email response. Hope I am making sense with my question

Off topic: my Download folder got deleted (200GB of data)
Apologies for the off topic post but something extraordinary happened today while using my AI systems. My download folder on my Mac got wiped and no idea how it happened: half my life was in that folder and not sure what impacted this will have. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them while using AI / ICM I thought that it was being backed up on iCloud but not all of it was! Gutted

How To Sell ICM Folder Structure To SMB's
In 2021 and 2022 I was selling conversational ai (about $12,500 90 day pilots) to business with high value clients (think lawyers, HVAC, RE, mortgage brokers, etc) The thing that you have to take into account is the customer's awareness ladder (Eugene Schwartz) and you have to figure out a way to get them to most aware. I saw the other day @Leonard Dauksza mentioned being out in Seattle, networking with large tech type companies and they didn't even know what ICM was... They're unaware. His messaging needs to start by moving them up the framework. If large tech companies are, what do you think SMB's are? I explain the difference in what @Jake Van Clief is doing, who he is selling too, and reframe it so you can sell it to small businesses. it's 2 different ponds that we're playing in. Unless you're an MSP already with clientelle, or an agency that has client's trust you earned, you need to come over to this pond...it's nice a warm here. In anything you're doing, just understanding the customer's journey will help you in your own marketing systems. I teach you how to get the business owner asking you about ICM the same way I do and did in 2021 2022 when "conversational ai for sales" was only being ran by 1 company. You learn to gain trust and make some extra scratch on the way (woosender.com still a company today). Let me know any questions or comments below... I need to go watch this ASAP
Title: You just unlocked one more roadmap 🗺️
You just unlocked one more roadmap. This week, it’s David’s Corner. We’re going to be releasing a new roadmap every single week, but there’s a reason we’re doing them one at a time. I want to make sure you actually have time to go through each one, digest what you’re learning, and complete the work before moving on to the next. Each roadmap is designed to walk you through the material step by step. You’ll go through the lessons, answer questions, take short quizzes, and complete accountability posts along the way. The goal isn’t to give you more content to consume. It’s to help you actually complete what’s already here and put it into practice. So this week, your next step is simple: Go to the Roadmap tab, jump into David’s Corner, and start working your way through it. Next week, we’ll unlock another one. We also have some pretty exciting updates coming to Decster over the next month that will make this experience even better. More on that soon.

Lots of catching up to do here.
small simple things = big wins
While not currently ICM-related, it is AI-related so I wanted to share a story. My 90-plus-year-old grandmothers eyesight has declined and has trouble doing her shopping for herself and has asked for assistance but we didn't know what kind of things she typically was shopping for. She typically went to Walmart to get her necessities. Most of us would have reached for the receipts and started making notes and talking about the items on those receipts but no that's not how I operate. While she gathered up this year's receipts from Walmart, which she never throws away, I hung one of her wall hangings that had come off the wall a few weeks ago with some new command strips. Upon finishing that task I had about fifty or so crumpled up receipts in my hand. Now keep in mind it's not very often where I can actually do something amazing in front of my family with technology even though I've been in the technology field for 30+ years. This task, two years ago, would have taken someone a couple of hours to manage and with significant human error. Here's what we did. I opened up Claude and said I'm going to scan in some receipts here. I want you to organize them into a table, line item by line item, finding duplicates and just giving them a count. (Scan .. I know I am old that is what we have done and the term doesn't leave me for 'take a picture' yet ) So I did about five receipts to begin with just to see how it did it and shockingly we had a 10 row, 4 column table right out the gate, with a few items already DE-duplicated with counts so we're off to the races. I repeated the process, scanning about 6-8 receipts per comment with Claude, and Claude ingested them perfectly with a few exceptions. Let me explain. As we were going through I noticed it was removing a couple columns to where I was now just to a two-column table instead of a four- or five-column table. What I realized was it was not able to maintain the price column because prices of some of the items were changing and it didn't have instructions on how to handle it. I said, "Recalculate all of the pricing and give it into a column next to each item and use average pricing for each item that you have duplicates of." That's all I said and I did it.

Well done and I like the way you approached helping your grandma.
